Default Painted Spats & Calipers

I finally got some pics in the sun since I painted my calipers as some know, I absolutely hate red calipers. I also traded out my matte black spats for some carbon flash painted spats:

Looks real good. I literally swapped the Carbon Flash painted spats the first day I had my Z!

Did you buy the spats pre-painted or did you have them painted? There was an earlier thread (moved) about quality issues as a result of pre-painted spats not being prepped correctly.

I purchased them prepainted from a FORMER Corvette Forum Vendor.

Had you already purchased them before taking ownership?

Haha yup. I knew I was either getting a new GS or a gently used Z06, and would fit on either car.

Looks Great with your stage 2 splitter but would not like it with my plastic stage 1 splitter. Yours looks AWESOME!

I did the spats CF ASAP on my white GS. When the hell did it become acceptable to not paint the entire car on your flagship vehicle?

I picked up some carbon flash spats as well that I was thinking of installing this weekend.

Any tips on installation of them? I have not been able to find a single how-to thread for these.

I recorded mine but didn't make a how to because it was too simple. I'll make it if you want. You'll probably have to wait a few days though.

Thank you for the offer. If you recorded the installation, would you mind posting that? I just want to see the steps taken and how the double sided tape sections were removed.

That would be helpful for me too as mine are getting installed next week.
