Anyone waiting for the ZR1 before modding?
So I have had my car almost 2 years now, probably the longest I have had anything with no mods. The plan was to keep it stock about a year and start bolting on parts and turn boost up. Pretty much had figured out what I wanted to do, but then all the ZR1 talk. While I doubt I will buy one, I hate to mod the car now if the upgraded model will have parts that can be converted to my Z06.
My main dellima is if the ZR1 has a better fuel system and larger supercharger? I know there are solutions out there now, but if something is better right around the corner, tough call. Anyone else feel this way?

I'm waiting for the Magnuson 2.65 l supercharger for the C7 Z06 Q1 2018 to dial it up to 850 rwt even if I can get over 875 I'll keep it limited to that until I know more about limits on the trans and backend.
Right now 750+ rwt and 660 estimated HP at the wheels with my basic mods and expert tune is keeping my smile going every day.

Iv had mine for a year and im so eager to mod, im about to mod but keep it simple for the exact reason that the blower or fuel system might be changeable, or the upgrade tadge has been talking about for the 15/16s. for example, im doing long tubes: meth, CAI, and upper pulley, id like to do e85 as well. All these mods other then the pulley can stay on the car if a blower swap or upgraded fuel system. That is my thinking. I hope the ZR1 sports a new blower that we can swap over.

Since we have seen the ZR1 it's sorta ugly and has too much as in race car features like the huge front bill and rear spoiler. Along with over half the Z06 parts bin. All which you will pay an arm and leg for.
The Z06 is the better looking car.
Already having 1 M7 Z06 which is no slouch with around 650 rwhp.
I took advantage of the low prices.
To get a 2017 Z06 with the A8 I think it will be very cool to have both I paid 15k more for my 2015 with less options.
Then I'll wait to see the mid engine!
