If you can get that up to 6 sets at 350 I think you'll be ok.

excellent thanks. I had been searching youtube for a similar vid but they never really show the process inside the car.

What are peoples best times with launch control ? I've hit 3.5 just manually push the gas from a stand still (no brake-torque) and I was impressed there's no wheel spin. I'm used to my old hellcat so launching was difficult.
I know GM claims 2.95 0-60 w/ the Z07 pkg, what's best non-z07? Gotta be 3.0-3.2 range.. that aero kit on the z07 cant be helping that much for 0-60 I'm thinking.

Big Thanks, that simplifies the whole proves. I always envisioned Mexico as being very dry and sandy. Do you use launch control to come back across the border........lol

FYI: The outside and inside videos are of a single run. So it gives you a view of what's happening inside the car then you can see what it looks like outside the car. Thanks to the better half for standing side the road to get the outside vid!!!

Ya got me thinking. I will see if I can get the 0-60 (or any other number you want) timer to work with launch control. That timer is in the Performance menu.

Yes, throttle is handled differently. Check your owner's manual. You still get full power but the throttle opening rate changes depending on mode with Race Mode not having any inhibitions.

That makes sense, that's why I launch in Race mode.

Does your car have to have the Z07 performance package for this option? I have a non Z07 2017 Z06 A8.

I have been wondering if my car has this option like my 2013 ZR1 did.

My owner's manual says "engine power is reduced" in all the modes except Race.
Pages 208-209.

No, it is not necessary to have Z07. Your 2017 Z07 works just like mine.
Enjoy!

very helpful Bob thank you! I didn't realize you can select the mode "Track 2" after the display clears. I always hurry up and try to get it all in before the screen switches back to the speed reading.
