Huracan or Z06 as daily driver?

The Hurracan is by far, the best all-around car I have ever driven. However, I would never have it as a true daily driver. 2nd or 3rd car, sure.
Maybe there's a difference of opinion of what "daily driver" means...
Would I want to drive it almost every day, sure...
Would I take it to the supermarket, little league baseball game, ...a funeral... uh, no.

I am a a long time Ferrari as well as Corvette owner. I had the pleasure of driving a Huracan and while it was fun, I found visibility to be limited. Side visibility is good but view to the rear is limited and the nose drops away so it was hard to see where the nose of the car ended. To me the Z06 is a better daily driver but the Lamborghini a better weekend treat. Where I live the Vette does not get the negative "class envy" attention the Huracan would get. This lessens the risk of vandalism etc. when parking the vehicle. Heck if money is not an issue get both.

Here's my 2 cents ..... I have both ... a 16 huracon and 16 zo6 ... The Z is a better every day car .... that's all
the wow factor with the lambo is night and day . Lambo is faster imho from a dig and it's more fun

Our ride is in:
So is the verdict: THIS CAR IS FOR MIDGETS!
Half of my husband's head is outside the car at the lowest seat position. He is just average height, slim build.
Everything else is moot. Returning rental. Z06 it is.
EDIT: Didn't mean to offend anyone who has Huracan. It just is has very limited height. Maybe they need to do something with seats.

We like them actually... a lot. Countach style Makes the car hip!
Corvertible to Convertible, isn't Z06 2.9 secs, Huracan LP580 3.6 secs? Isn't Z06 650HP, Huracan 580 HP? Weight difference is 3%. I don't understand how Huracan is being faster.
Keep feeding yourself that. These cars have pre-jurassic technology. In 2007, when we messaged GM "almost all cars around have parking sensors, why doesn't Corvette have such an option?", we were jokingly told that "Those who drive Corvette know how to park it.".
I guess 8 years later, they don't know how to park it.

Hey MaryAnn,
New to the thread and read through it. Fully understand where your coming from. Two things, I agree with Dave396 that the Z06 in convertible form will be a great car for you. Second, I think you really should consider the Ferrari California T. I have driven both the Z06 A8 convertible and a '16 California T. The T wins hands down for me because I am looking for a GT that I can take on extended vacation trips. The luxury that is in it beats a Corvette plus it has more storage room. Having a ZR1 already I would not want to daily drive it with all the splitters on it scaping everywhere. I am sure the Z06 would be the same in that regard. Nice problems to have in the end though. Good luck!

Despite all the good advice here about McLaren, Ferrari, Forsha ... It was only Vette or Lambo.

You're right, the Huracan (coupe) is made for smaller people. If you are over 6' you will fit, just won't be as comfortable. If you are 6'4, your head will skim the roof.
the Z06 is certainly the better daily. More compliant suspension, more comfortable seats, and much less attention grabbing. Oh, and the headlight performance at night in the Huracan is a disgrace, lol.
Huracan is a quicker/faster in every aspect. Z06 evens the playing field with simple bolt ons though.
Both great cars but at such different price points, they are hardly cross shopped as the main toy.

He is more like 5'9/10
He has to tilt his head forward to be able to fit in. On open top, his vision is blocked by the top of windshield. Do you reckon that Convertible is different measurements than a coupe? Or seat positioning is different?

FWIW, I am 5'10" and had a helluva time fitting into an Aventador coupe.
