Awesome looking car!!! I just traded in my '14 C7 which was the Torch Red, lots of black and Adrenline Red interior, got so many great comments on it.....one Sexy Bitch!! The Z06 convertible that's replacing her is sitting in Delivery Bay 1 at the Corvette Museum.....and best of ALL.....
I'm picking her up tomorrow morning
Sterling Blue Metallic, Twilight Blue Package, 3LZ......she's pretty too!!
Have Fun and Be Safe, they are really fun cars.

I cant imagine this car being someones first true sports car. It must feel like being strapped to a rocket. Most of us here have grown through the recent meteoric gains in horsepower from C5's to C5Z' then C6Z's and while the C7Z is an amazing car i wasnt overwhelmed with the power it possesses
Congrats to the OP on his beautiful TR Z

Between 4:00pm Friday to 12am Saturday I have a little over 700km on it. Time for an oil change!

Melting Slicks
I hope you have many many miles of fun in your new car... enjoy it!!
Im sure you have read how quickly these can get away from you in cool temps and cold tires, but in case you have not be extra careful until you learn the characteristics of your new monster.

Looks great! Of course I have the same exterior -and- interior colors, so I'm biased a little.
Any trouble getting one up there in Alberta or has the supply started to catch up with demand? Unless they've seriously adjusted prices, the exchange rate is a help a this point I imagine (as opposed to trying to buy one in US funds after exchange)?

Not sure where in Alberta you live but Calgary dealers have had lots of vettes on display for sale for well over a year. There are still many 2016s available.
I bought my 17 Z off the showroom floor Dec 23, 2016.

I am in Calgary. I saw a couple convertibles but nothing close to what I wanted to order for coupes. No one had a 2LZ.

Safety Car
Psyence, it's awesome to see someone like you who really appreciates owning a Z06. I've noticed an increasing number of people on this forum who don't seem to grasp how awesome it is to have a car like this or who are always looking for the next best thing rather than being happy with what they've got. Cheers to you, mate.

Burning Brakes
Very nice ride and welcome to the family! My z is coming out of storage tomorrow and can't wait to drive it, its two years old and I still have the same feeling when I look at it. The first 500 miles is tough but necessary, get the oil changed and then have fun, but be careful!!! Enjoy
