Default In the shop: 2016 Z07 package lowered with LG Billet Drop Spindles

Finished this black beauty up yesterday. Killer setup with Z07 package, black wheels, black paint and red interior. Now it's sitting right with the LG drop spindles!

Front and rear drop spindles laid out ready to go.

factory brake scoops bolt on just like stock

all wheel bearing and parking brake assemblies transfer over too.

Direct bolt on replacement

retains OEM mag ride and all stock pieces

retains OEM mag ride and all stock pieces

Sitting right! How it should be factory.

All stock alignment specs can be had, stock ride comfort level, and shock adjustments retained with a new killer stance!

Right. Not like lowering on factory bolts. My car rode terrible after i lowered on factory bolts.

I put it back up to regular height. Maintaining comfort level more important to me than looks. But these cars look so good dropped.

what was cost?

Like almost all American cars, the c7 looks great lowered.
Unfortunately, front splitters aren't impressed with the lowered height.

$150 off spindles through this weekend then they go back up to the normal price of $3295/set of four.

Funny you should say that, even lowered the C7Z is still higher at the splitter than my 2008 Z06 lowered on stock bolts. While it is lower than stock, it isn't as low as you might think.

Either way it isn't like driving a 1/2 ton truck....still have to watch what you are doing with it.

Definitely looks good and I would be interested but the price seems pretty steep? Any chance of a group buy to get these at a discounted rate? Also, do they fit all years of Z06 w/ non-ceramic brakes?

They fit all C7's....base, Z51, Z06, carbon...and so far any aftermarket brake that I know of for them.

They generally only go on sale once a year, Christmas.

I have never seen a GP for the spindles. Maybe check some of our dealers as I know a few have had specials on them.

Have them on my '16 Z06/Z07 and have zero complaints. If you want to lower a Z07 car, these are the way to go for sure, and after having them for a year I would get them on a non-Z07 car as well. 100% OEM ride that keeps the geometry correct and able to get a perfect alignment.

Not afiliated, but in the last 15 or 16 years I have bought more than a couple LG products and have been nothing but satisfied with the fit and finish as well as results.

Lowering on the stock bolts changes the roll centers too much and results in too much "A" arm angle. That is why we developed these for our race cars. It was a process and trial an error to get the correct roll centers out of the suspension to maintain the ride.

So you can actually have a proper geometry and a lowered car with this solution.
Thanks

the only other thing that I would suggest is our LG Sway bars for the car. It adds to the cornering stance and fits in the stock bushings. Off ramps will be totally changed with these installed.
More level cornering with no effect in a straight line, Quicker cornering respons!

Thanks

You would be surprised, the car is quite a bit higher off the ground stock than what the C6Z/ZR1 cars were.

For me the Drop Spindles were the only way to go with the Z07 , FE7 suspension.
(The FE7 suspension causes the body to sit about 1/2" higher, maybe even more than the Z06)

I run mine with the lowering bolts about where they were when it came from the factory, about mid point. Also have the LG sway bar. The stance is great and handling even better.

Thanks LG
