Default Tadge speaking to us at Carlisle-IC changes and help for existing Z06 owners!

Tadge explaining to me and others about ic changes to 17 Z06.

And that gm is "thinking" about what compensation or program they will have for existing owners.

Believe it or not, only a very small % will ever log onto this site.

The problem for GM is the complaints from the small group here has made its way into the media and their hand has been forced.
On second thought,

Who forced Pobst's hands to overheat the Z06 in December of 2014? Name the forum member. We didn't even have a Corvette on hand when Motor Trend tested it at Road Atlanta. There are half a dozen media outlets that overheated a Z06, they didn't need us to see what it can do they tested it themselves. How many cars do you know are said to be tested until cooling limp modes in 6 different news outlets? Don't you think that abundance of media tests is what created the epidemic?

Since when does the media has its hands forced by forum contributors? The media prints what it thinks will make waves and bring on the readers.

Your conspiracy theory is totally unsubstantiated. I tell you what a small group here has done, it has **** on feedback from owners who reported their experience when it hasn't matched theirs, it has **** on vendors that offered solutions, and it has **** on the media and test drivers that drove the car and provided you a summary for free.

A swap out parts program. Wonder what happens if people already bought a secondary cooler.

I know others will not believe it until they see it, but I have to be one of the ones that actually believe him here. Tadge seems very genuine here and confident that they are looking at a couple plans to help support the existing owners.

I don't expect anything for free, but some subsidy by a core exchange is a good start in my opinion.

Thank you for the video!

Agree thanks for sharing and I believe him. They made changes to the LSA supercharger in the CTS-V2 and helped me as an owner. Not surprised they'd help in this situation too.

Please come through Tadge/GM! Besides my personal interest in seeing this happen it would build a lot of goodwill and good press too, after wide press coverage of the heating issues.

Default Wow

So cool,
Looks like GM will have 2 levels of programs for folks who

a) want 2017 cooling
b) want an even greater cooling through the means of race fuel

I have to say though the guy on the left seriously needs some manners - if tadge is talking, listen to what the man has to say , the guy repeatly says "I got it, I got it ,I got it" , he came across as a total weinershniztel.

anywho, thank you Tadge for your continuous development on one of the worlds greatest platform. You are much appreciated!

Just got back to hotel. Heading over for the parade in couple hours. That guy Tadge very cool guy to be able to just click answere off and he knew he's was on video (instead of just typing that he told me I knew proof was needed lol). The guy on the left wasn't a jerkoffs think he was hoping someone else would ask a question as we all felt many people had them and not wanting to "hog" all the time etc.

There was a guy before I had her videoing who was asking questions that he had no idea what he was talking about felt bad hw was trying because he was handing them to tadge secondhand asking about a 8 cooling issues tadge worked his way through that and figure out what the guy I meant and then I just expanded on that.

I was hoping to get you guys some answers about your cars (hopefully my car as well in the upcoming months lol)

That is hard to do with a cell phone. You don't haul around a bunch of camera and video equipment at Carlisle. Too big of a place (~ a square mile), huge crowds, hot, humid and leaves you no room for all of the crap you purchase or pick up while walking through all of the vendor areas and displays.

Because nobody should contribute anything to the forum unless the production is professional quality??? I doubt that Tony went there solely to shoot high quality video and audio.

Again, thanks Tony for providing this info.

Why don't you go buy some professional video recording equipment and go there to record the damn thing yourself if the quality isn't up to snuff for you. Some people.

To that guy. I apologize. I thought something was better than nothing. Wasn't expecting that to happen for sure. I taped a bunch from the stands of the information session but too much back talk so I didn't post it.
