Pro-Charger or bolt-ons, meth, e85 etc (Vengence Racing plz Chime in)
I'm either looking to do a Pro Charger kit with a cam(Thinking F1-R), or go as far as I can with the stock blower along with cooling mods, cam, pulley, meth, etc.... really want a consistent mid to high 9 sec timeslip (car has been 10.36 @ 133 so far with Diablo tuner, cold air intake and drag radials) Its an A8 with the Zo7 Package. I want it reliable and dont want the car on kill either as I want it street friendly as I do allot of street racing as well.

I did bolt ons and made 730whp from Vengeance. Car runs and drives great. It's been 162mph in the half mile with an M7. Has more in it but was limited on traction with the stock tires.
With that being said I would love the PC option but I couldn't afford it at the time.
Call Dave and Ron and have fun. You can't go wrong either way.

I went ProCharger F1-A and love it. I also did American Racing headers and Akrapovic exhaust. This car is even more bad a$$ than stock. It's like getting a new car. It sounds bad a$$ to. Lots of compliments on the exhaust..
I'm not sure where you live but I had mine shipped about 5 hours away because I wasn't taking any chances with my baby. I went with www.raceprovenmotorsports.net because they did my 2013 Z06 and a bunch of my buddies cars and none of us has had any problems.. Check them out!!

You know what the difference is from the F1-A vs the F1-R? Are you running meth as well? If you dont mind me asking what kind of power did it put down and how much boost? I live in Long island NY, I have an enclosed trailer that I'd drop off and pick up, really leaning towards Vengence
Guy is on 12 psi with just headers for now.

That's exactly what I say. I watch their videos on Youtube all time and they do exceptional work and are careful with customer's cars. And that shop is always CLEAN! They would get my business, no question about that.

I am in the process of gathering all the info that I can to pull the trigger on a Procharger set up. After speaking with Procharger and telling them my goals (800-850 whp), they recommended the F1A set up. I got on the phone and started speaking with some top notch shops. They all agreed that the F1A with meth and 93 octane is an awesome set up for anyone looking to be in the 800-900 whp range.
So the good news is that there is a commonality amongst these shops that agree that the F1A is a great set up, but the not so good news is that some vendors are telling me I can just slap on the PC, headers, meth, and tune and call it good, while others are saying no way, it's a necessity to have the cam with fuel lobe upgrade as well as an upgraded valve-train.
Once I get this particular situation finalized, I am going with a F1A setup and I may post a build thread for those interested.

Some shops either don't know what they are talking about or they are trying to get you to spend more money. Meth F1A headers GOOD tune will get you 800-850rwhp. As stated above I have used the same shop for 2 builds and haven't had any problems. Do yourself a favor and call www.raceprovenmotorsports.net because they will be honest with you.

Can you give your input if you think it's necessary to upgrade the cam/valvetrain on a F1A setup with meth?

Stock cam.. Thanks Fran I can never remember the psi and and exact numbers. I guess that is why I come to you so I don't have to think about that **** and just know that you know what you're doing. I'm thinking about adding meth though. I think I'm ready for some more power. I got a buddy with a GTR that has been giving me a little bit of a problem. Lol

2016 Z06, how many miles do you have on your build? Do you run your car pretty hard?
I ask because it's one thing to get the set-up and put a 1000 miles on it and call it 'reliable' (not saying that's you), and it's a completely different world to get the car and make pulls among pulls every weekend.
If you can give us a little more insight it will really help us folks that are looking to go this route. Thank you!
