Default Halltech intake and Corsa X-pipe...

So I recently installed the Halltech CAI and installing a 3" Corsa X-pipe tomorrow. For those that have the same mods, did you tune your car?

I actually want to tune the car as I feel it's safer to do so, and I will once I can get one of the local shops to get me in, but what I want to know is how "dangerous" is it to go WOT with these two mods without a tune? Should I be conservative with the gas pedal until I get the tune?

Thanks in advance

I've got the Halltech CAI with the Corsa Extreme Exhaust and their double Helix X-Pipe (along with a Throttle Body Spacer) with NO TUNE....works fabulously!

Do you think you are hurting the car more so than helping it with these mods and no tune? Not a rhetorical question, really wondering.

No tune with Halltech and Corsa X. 4300 miles in the ODO, 3k with the combo. Love the sound and the gains from my butt dyno. Will tune the car with headers when my car reached 10k miles

You will improve performance and definitely improve the sound with just the CAI and X-pipe, especially if you add the axle back exhaust. These mods should not effect the factory warranty, however once you add headers and a tune, you are on warranty thin ice.

Thanks for the replys, even though most of the replys didn't answer my question, lol.

On a side note, X-pipe went on today and what a great mod!! Just the perfect amount of sound IMO. Highly recommended.
