Ahhhh, the wonders of the Internet and how we all interpret things differently. I consider myself a car guy, not a Corvette guy. Personally, I enjoy seeing what other people own and drive, regardless of what forum it is. I didn't perceive it as bragging at all . . . just a man who was sharing his passion of cars with like-minded people. I've been a member of this forum for a number of years and it seems like whatever the topic, things go south very quickly. After being diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago I came to the realization that life is too short and precious to worry about the small stuff. I apologize for my ramblings . . . Now back to our regularly scheduled programing.

Beautiful car, Soulsea, and bad to the bone. Don't be a stranger around here. You were always one of the more stable and reasonable ones with your posts. Good luck with the new ride.

Serge..killer car..what's not to like? If you're going to VIR for the IMSA race, I'll be in the Corvette Coral and we will hopefully see that ultra cool car in the flesh, er...paint!

Beautiful car Serge; enjoy it.
And I applaud you for actually driving the car and tracking it. So many others will be garage queens bought by speculators. Just don't let that gorgeous fat *** bite you on your *** at the road course! lol

Really appreciate the well done cars like your new one. I always liked American muscle and the Coevette.
I am happy with the latest Z. Really, nothing else matters to me in the way Corvette does. The rest are just transportation and I like fine cars for that but still the Z is the only one that I turn and look at as I walk away. Good luck with the new one, maybe I should look at those as well...

Congrats on your new ride Soul! That is a worthy successor to be sure. I will miss your posts and wish you well in your new world. Remember your roots, some of your new compadres can be a bit much if you know what I mean

My absolute dream car! Sadly, I'll probably never get a chance to drive one, much less own one. You are a blessed man. Once you own that, all other car desires should fade. That is the ultimate drivers cars. Their is no substitute (in my opinion, anyway). Enjoy it in Good health.

Good for you. I had a 991 GT3 and also numerous RS before that. All great cars. Didn't keep my 991 GT3 long because I am not a big fan of paddle shift Porsches, but it was a nice-looking and sounding car.
Also in line for for the Zora!

Well, about 8 months ago, they were getting $175K over. As of 3 months ago, my friend was offered a brand new one for $45K over from a dealer.

I promised myself I wasn't going to cry ...
An opportunity came up to get an incredible deal on a 2016 GT3 RS and I decided to jump on, and as a result the Callaway had to be sacrificed to the trade gods. I loved that car, and I loved my 15 Z06, but the combination of my short attention span and above mentioned opportunity forced my restless hand.
Just like my own relatively dysfunctional home, the CF C7Z forum has been a home to me for the last year and a half, and I am going to miss it. You guys taught me pretty much everything I know about this car, and I hope I was able to give a little of it back in between snarky comments. Seriously, thank you for helping me out, for supporting my build and track efforts, and for everything in general.
I won't post pics of the RS cause it's not a Porsche forum ... but google Lava Orange RS and that's what mine looks like.
My Chevy dealer has me first in line if the Zora ever manifests, so that's likely the next time you will see me actively participate on CF.
Thanks again, and see you on track or on the street.
