That leather face mask/bra has to be one of the ugliest additions to a Corvette yet. It makes the entire community of owners look bad. To add the chrome wheels on top is almost too much. That car is so bad...

Chrome means you earned the money yourself.

I see a 28 year old with black rims in a Z06 and I start to generalize too, just like you guys do when you see chrome. And it's no more fair when I do it.

And chrome belongs on a 1985 Eldorado. I like chrome on my trucks and Harley's but not my sports cars. I don't mind chrome on someone else's Corvette but I personally would not get them. I don't think I have ever seen factory Chrome wheels on upper end European sports cars! I think overall Chrome is an "age" thing. I know my dad and father in law are in their 70's and they favor chrome wheels as well. At 56 I probably should favor chrome as well but personally like the sportier look of the black wheel. I think luxury when I see chrome and would probably favor them on a luxury 4 door sedan.

Nah, I wouldn't stuck my neck out there if I actually took it personally. I just think its funny/interesting how easily people will dump on someone else's 100K decision.

No worries, I love my chrome, but I also have a 17 year old son, so I know how it's viewed by some. And I don't give a rat's butt! I like it so I ordered it.

Besides, wheels are like a haircut. Pretty easy to change!

Should have replaced the rotors to go all out, but the other stuff cost too much

If you don't track the Carbotect pads for the steel rotors are great for low dust. Chrome or painted, to each his own.
