Default Apsis' C7 Z06 Splash Guard Installed....new pix received from customer

Hi All,

Just receive these new pictures from our customer for C7 Z06 Splash Guard.

This customer had purchased 3 sets of our C6 Z06 & ZR1 splash guard before and loved it so he won't drive his new C7 Z06 without our splash guard. This is the 2nd set of C7 Z06 splash guard he purchased. Last year he used it on his dsom Z and now this is for his wife.

Like to share the pictures with you.

For those customers who are still not familiar with our Z06 splash guard yet, we would like to inform you that our Z06 Splash Guard is the only kit out there that sticks outer than the front tire. So it will automatically block all the debris. It has been proved for sooooo many years since 2006 the first year we introduced our C6 Z06 splash guard till today. Thousands of customers have used our splash guard and they all say IT WORKS.

Here are the pictures.

On the price you gave as $328/pair, are you saying a pair of axles (4 wheels) or a pair of wheels (one axle) for this $328 number?

It's same price since 2006 for C6 Z06.

DRLC5,

I agree 100%, but the darn things have worked for me for some 25,000 miles on 3 cars. Please note----I do not have any connection to Apsis or the owner, etc., but over the years I bet easily 25, if not 50+, folks have bought these guards based on posts I have made---and nobody has ever written back any hate mail to me, so I am guessing their experience has been similar to mine as well. Notably, on the 427 threads in the sticky section, way back when these cars came out there were many posts on recommended steps to take when buying the cars. Getting the Apsis guards was frequently at or near the top of the list. It was the 1st thing I did with my 427 and the 2103. (And no, Jersey has never given me a free pair or anything.) I recommend these guards only because they have worked for me, and I am just trying to pass along my experience to others so they can hopefully avoid damage to their cars. When I got my 1st Z06 another seasoned Z06 owner put me on to these guards, and I just feel it is the right thing to do to pass along the good information.

I had these guards on a 2008 Z06, a 2013 427 (same body, etc. as the other C6 Z06's), and now a 2015 Z06. In total, I have put on about 25,000 miles------with no road debris damage at all on the lower sides of the cars or rear vent areas. The 427 had side skirts, the other two car did not. I do not race or track the cars-----only spirited driving with other corvette owners, etc. So, I have no idea how they perform if tracking.

The tires on these cars are wider than the car......the Apsis guards are wider than the tires........I haven't come across another guard that is wider then our Z tires.

I've used the Apsis splash guards front and rear on my C6Z and now my C7Z. Yes, they are expensive, but so are the cars. I can drive in pretty much any road, hear the occasional sound of rocks thrown up into the wheel wells and not worry about rock hip damage to the fenders. I bought the C7Z guards before my car even arrived. They are wider and more protective than the GM splash guards.

I really like these. Not only do they extend outwards enough, but the fronts also appear to be a bit longer, which also protects the leading edge of the side skirts...

Really don't care for the look. To me they stick out too far. Reminds me of all the pickups running around with mud flaps. My Z has the GM guards plus the side skirts. 4000+ miles and zero body hits.
Just my humble opinion.

Put your comment back, I want to see it. I've seen some good comments about the ACS guards which are less expensive, and I've read some comments about APS service that weren't very flattering. My next purchase is leaning to ACS.

Someone deleted my post about the price difference between APSIS and ASC splash guards, which in my opinion is considerable. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm going to order the ASC guards and side rockers. I have a friend who has them on his car and they're very high quality. The ACS guards are also wider than OEM. I can't tell how much wider the APSIS guards are than the ACS guards. Maybe someone can chime in.

Would you get the same results by keeping the stock GM flaps and adding side skirts?

I'm not an expert on this topic by any stretch of the imagination, but from what I've read, the stock GM front guards are not wide enough to prevent rocks/stones from being thrown back and damaging the paint. I do believe that aftermarket guards (APSIS, ACS, etc.) are wider and when used in conjunction with side skirts, will minimize or prevent most of the damage that's occurring.
