Has GM ever dropped 4 colors in one model year? Any idea what will replace these colors?
I would like to see a Crystal white tricoat, Dark Granite, Black Diamond tricoat And a wild color or two? Maybe a Bright Lambo Orange? Thoughts.
I may go for a 17 if the right color comes out? Any talks of new Interior colors? Why can we not get the Kalahari in two tone seats?

Metallic Black
Silver
Gunmetal
Dark Granite
White
50 other shades of grey
And red, that has been toned down to look almost grey

Are they really dropping 4 colors? Which ones?

They already stopped production of Night Race Blue and Orange. Going into 2017, we lose Cyber Gray (edit - Shark Gray) and Laguna Blue.

Heavy rumors (from dealers) is to expect a new metallic white and a new metallic black plus some kind of new blue shade. Perhaps something similar to the Cadillac Tri-Coat colors and the new Camaro blue.

What is a bit frustrating is that they first tell you what they are dropping, and then take their sweet time before they tell you which options will be offered in place of those they have dropped... C'mon GM. If you know which ones you are dropping then at least have the courtesy to tell us what will be on the roster instead and not keep us hanging. I know the sales argument, but more than one of those colors you dropped have been VERY popular... (shaking my head). I still say offer "PAINT TO SAMPLE" with the new plant!

Agreed. Metallic White (without that HIDEOUS TINTCOAT currently on GM upgraded white paint) might look pretty special on the C7 bodywork.

As long as it is a true white and not a pearl white similar to what Cadillac offers. I attended a local auto show with a friend of mine and we saw the new Cadillac ATS and ATSV sedans. One of them was painted Pearl White or "Semen White" as my friend called it. Now I think of that every time I see an ATS in that color.

Is Cyber Grey the colour for 2016? It was Shark Grey in 2015 which is a fantastic colour on the car. If I say so myself. lol

Oops, I meant to say "Shark Gray". Cyber Gray was the earlier gray that Shark Gray replaced. It seems GM can't decide on which gray to go with...

Porsche Pink? Makes sense on a Boxster or a Carrera but isn't that a little limp-wristed for a Z06?

I can't believe that they are dropping the Shark Gray Metallic as it was the 3rd. most selling color in 2015 and is by
far the best looking color on the Z06/Z07 cars. White looks best on ambulances and hearses while Black looks really
good on the Batmobile.

I'd like to see a gray that was closer to Cyber Gray. i didn't much care for the shark gray personally. And I agree with above comments, I'd like to see them do something a bit more wild, though I'm not sure what.

Shark gray, cyber gray... why doesn't GM make up their mind. Love the current shark gray on my '16 Z06 but my cyber gray '10 ZR1 was pretty nice with the competition gray wheels...

The change may likely be due to the plant receiving paint shop construction/investment. The paint process there is 30 years old and it's all about to change. Going to have new capability and new systems so...going to certainly invoke some changes.
