Default SPRING MOUNTATIN - a MUST for Corvette owners!!!

I just returned from 2 days @ Spring Mountain. This is a MUST for any Corvette owner. Not only did I learn a TON about my Z06, but I also picked up a myriad # of tips for tracking/Auto-X events.

The instructors are VERY patient and professional and really know their stuff!

I highly highly recommend the School for anybody who is interested in learning about their car and possible Future track/Auto-Xing.

WELL WORTH the money!

I totally agree. When you get a 74% discount, $3695 for a ZO6 vs $1000, you really can't pass it up. Everything is first class from the accommodations, to the track, the cars, the instructors and the staff, even the food is good. Super good time. Don't miss the Winery for diner downtown. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. The speed limit on the road from Vegas is 70 mph, be careful.

It's a no brainer. It should be required for all Z06 purchasers.

We were blessed to have bought 2 Z06's last year, so we got 2 school invitations. I took the first and my wife took the second. We really enjoyed it. Now she can't wait for more track time.

Me too, but what's to,old?

If you can drive there you can take the school. I'm not to old to learn and am glad you aren't either. Heck the instructors will be no older than a couple of my grandkids.

I was there the same time as you; guy with the British accent. I met Tony and Chad S there who are on the forum, but must have missed you. Sorry about that.

And I agree it was a fantastic experience!!

I've been to Utah for Boss 302 school, and several years of HDPE's. Can't wait to get to Spring Mountain March 4 & 5. Hope to see some others there as well

I am considering a Z06 purchase, but I'm undecided on used or new, depending on the dollars. The Ron Fellows class is a big incentive to buy new, but there is really no way I can get out to Nevada for it. I think I read somewhere that they will start a school at NCM Motorsports park, Bowling Green, which I can drive to easily. Has anyone else heard this, and if so, when it starts?

Wonder if there are any CF members who will be there at the same time as I will be there?

I'm booked for 2/22-23 as well.

Oddly enough they told me they have a Michelin event and the condos on site are all on hold (don't know why since the Michelin event is 2/20-21) so they may have to book me hotel outside the resort.
I don't care about the room as it is just for sleeping, but would that impair the experience/atmosphere in any way?

I booked just yesterday and no problem getting a condo. Did you speak with Melinda?

I also booked yesterday. Booked with Donna and then Brock arranged the room and told me she will get back to me confirming if it they can release a room for me.

I'll give them a call again.

Can people who been there share some tips?
Obviously I'll bring a SD card for the PDR, anything else I should bring with me?
