Thats impressive! We hope you hit 200 this year too, many people that track their cars use our XPEL TracWrap(thicker than blue painters tape and air release liner, so easy on and off application) on top of the XPEL ULTIMATE.
For example a friend of ours here in san antonio has a fully wrapped McLaren 650S, and he uses TracWrap on the front end and impact areas.

Thanks for the responses.
I have about 800 miles right on my Night Race Blue Z07. Have been extremely careful and I already have a little ding in the front. Very small but my heart just about broke.
I watched some demos showing the the performance of 3M, Suntek and Xpel. In some of those the 3M seemed to come out ahead. Consensus here looks to be Xpel.
Thanks again

Premium Shield Elite?
Anyone heard of Premium Shield Elite? It appears to be self-healing and also has a lifetime warranty. Looks to be competitively priced in comparison to xpel. Interested in hearing of any experiences with it before I make my choice.

What's a ball park price on a Xpel Ultimate with an extensive install? (Say full front/hood/a pillars/side mirrors/skirts/rockers or just whole car)

Keep in mind these are what we typically see across the country and it can vary with these factors:
- Where you live
- Demand for paint protection film
- Size of your vehicle
For a partial front end: This includes 18-24” up the hood and fenders, front bumper, mirrors and sometimes headlights. This ranges from $795 - $1,000.
For full front coverage: This includes the entire hood and front fenders, front bumper, mirrors and sometimes headlights. This ranges from $1,795 - $2,200.
For full car coverage: This includes every painted surface on the car possible. This ranges from $4,500 - $8,000.
@Spearfish25, where are you located? Your best bet is to call around to a few shops and see what they're charging and then go look at their installation quality. Finding a good installer that has worked with a corvette before is important, the cheapest isn't always the best choice.

$2500 to do most of that excluding doors and partial rear quarter panels
Installed by someone that I know does good work.

Expel, I had expel put on my car down in Nashville after taking delivery. What can I expect the install quality to be from an expel certified installer? I have bubbles, drips and overhang all over on mine. Is this the norm?

Either Suntek or Xpel. Expertise and experience of installer are the most important factors.
Ceramic coating over film is a great choice also.

I did x-Pelosi on front bumper, then did side skirts from Katech. I then did Modesta ceramic coating and WOW. Shipped car to Germany and drove Germany and Italy. No chips, so easy to clean. I would defiantly go this route again. Full car XPEL vs Modesta , not sure of the difference but heard full XPEL runs 6-8 , Modesta about 14-15.

Your best bet is to take it to your installer that originally did the work and ask what they can do to fix it, as this would be an installation issue/error that would need to be corrected. Do you still live in Nashville?

Yes, Modesta/Similar Ceramic Coatings, for starters will not protect from impacts such as rock chips. Coatings are great to add on top of the film to make maintenance much easier, but a coating alone will not protect nearly as well as paint protection film. Clear bra, depending on the manufacturer can be roughly 6mils to 8mils thick. ULTIMATE is going to be 8 Mils thick as where coatings are much thinner.

My entire car is being wrapped in Premiumshield Elite right now, I will have it back Monday, pics to follow. I tested the 3M vs Xpel Ultimate vs the Premiumshield Elite and
found the Premiumshield Elite resisted scratches and etching better.
Either way, the car's paint will be better off with one of these than without!
p.s.
Two other reasons I chose Premiumshield....Lifetime Warranty and MADE IN THE U.S.A!!
