Because I have the 1LT, you don't get a garage door opener. Now who in this world that can buy a new Vette, doesn't have a garage! How stupid GM! SO my 1st was a new visor with the GDO in it. 2nd was Ceramic Brake pads ( I hate brake dust!) 3rd was front stone guards. ( Who needs chips in the paint!) 4th was new mats, and 5th with only 700 miles on the car was a MGW Shifter! ( What a world of difference! Best $360 I ever spent!)

You're blaming GM for offering a less expensive interior package that didn't include something you wanted? No offense, but that's funny.

I have garage space for my corvettes, but I know people that don't; I also know people with garages with openers that are not compatible with the opener built into the sun visor (Homelink is great, Lear doesn't work with one of my garage openers, so I use the little openers provided with my garage.

BTW, a poll might provide interesting results with regard to how many corvette owners have or do not have a garage of their own; some rent space from others.
