Christ, how old are some of you guys? I swear to God, it's like a 9th grade classroom discussion about who's dad can beat up who's dad.
Take your car to a track, drag race it and report your times. Who cares what Joe Blow can run in his Hellcat or Z06. What can you do in it? 99% of you guys have ZERO chance of running in the 10's regardless if it's an automatic or 7 speed.
Granted there are a few here that can. If you never have, nor do you plan on trying, you argument means nothing. You can't prove you can beat a Honda Civic, let alone a Hellcat.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't recall what times you've run in your Z06.

I believe his hellcat is not stock and he is running a nitrous outlet system, and long tubes, people has been talking about him lately !!
and couple of my friends with stock shelby gt500s have beaten couple of hellcats and I'll upload the videos for you guys!!
I have driven a hellcat, and its not as fast as the c7z, and I have taken those hellcat with my c7z!!

If you think your stock Shelby is a lot faster than a Hellcat then your butt dyno is in need of repair.

This video popped up on SVTP a week or so ago.
Considering stock '13/'14 GT500's have trapped ~126-128 mph, it looks like the cars are pretty evenly matched with a good driver in the GT500...and that's against an A8 Hellcat (on drag radials). But that's from a roll. From a dig, or at the drag strip, the A8 will out launch and be far more efficient than the GT500 the whole way down the track.
I've gone 7.8 60-130 (and 11.3 @ 127 mph) in my '13 GT500 when it was bone stock on stock tires. The problem was it would nudge the limiter at almost exactly 130 mph, lol. It was also VERY hard to get the damn thing to hook from a 2nd gear roll. If they had an A8 in them, they would be VERY quick.

Show me your 10.6 stock run with a tire in the 1/4.
Then you would be just as fast as a stock A8 Hellcat....but still not "a lot faster"
My 2015 M6 Stock Hellcat ran 11.4 in the street on a tire first time out.
By the way....My 2016 C7 Z06 should be delivered next week.

I don't need to prove anything to you, just to tell you that I only speak of what I see myself, and I saw the hellcat being beaten by a shelby multiple times.
don't get me wrong I'm not a fan boy of any brand, I got my money sitting in the bank waiting to whom offers me the best over all car, and I have always admired the hellcat, but I have never thought of them to fall in same segment as the c7 z06, it falls right at the shelby gt500 segment.
1/4 time I believe a lot of corvette forum members have gotten great 10ish runs with completely stock cars and tires.
for me I have never cared about the 1/4 time, its a roll race or nothing.

You can out drive 99% of the Shelby owners, and I remember that 11.3 time was the second fastest stock time ever for a GT500

I am just the opposite.....roll racing does nothing for me....
I would rather see some type of time slip.....

Well, I think you should man up and prove him wrong. Run his Hellcat with your Z06, and put him in his place. Don't just beat him with your bench racing, do it in person and then post up your video showing us the smack down that a 15 year old kid did to an adult...
Story time: I came across"Fatt Cat's" Instagram page (I don't follow him). He posted a picture and his caption was taking about how beat a Z06 4 times in a row and how he's beat a bunch of Z06s in his "stock" Hellcat. And let's not forget, he said a stock Hellcat trapped 8 mph higher than a stock Z06. I told him how he was wrong and the Z06 he beat 4 times was a manual and how his car is an auto. I also told him, C7Zs have run mid to high 10s bone stock on stock tires and here's the response I got:
There's alway's going to be someone faster. To me it's gotta have the whole package and I believe the new Zo6 has risen head and shoulders above the competition in most every aspect. Price, straight line performance, cornering, handling, braking, great mileage, ride quality, drop gorgeous looks and beautiful interiors. What has the hellct got besides a supercharged engine? I say no contest!
Now I might be a little confused as I have been up all night, but am I correct in observing that hemi Dave has run his HC to 11.4 out in the street and even done it on a tire to boot? Definitely impressive.

So based off your post, I'm guessing you like to assume things. For starters, yes I get all my homework done everyday and go to bed before 10:30 on weekdays, I'm an honors and AP (college classes) student with only A's and B's and work really hard in school so I can get where I want in life. I'm not on this site "24/7" like you think, on weekdays, I usually check out the forums and social media when I take a break from homework and on weekends, I'll check both social media and the forums more often as I have more freetime. So how about you stop assuming before you come and start typing on here telling people to live their lives.
I raced fatt-cat about a month ago in my C6Z. Only mod I have is a Halltech intake. He only had an intake on at the time too. It was pretty much even 40-160. He jumped me on "2" but I eventually reeled him in. He just got a bunch of mods put on last week from what I heard.
