80/20 back to 50/50 question
I was at pocono Monday and it was 42 in the early am. I'm a bit concerned about wind chill and such so I want to go back to straight coolant. Do I just drain the rad completely and refill with coolant or is there a block drain or somewhere else I need to drain?

me thinks you'll be just fine . You still have about 28 degrees before you would be at "freezing" for your 80/20 mixture.
Wind chill is only for us humanoids, a perception of temperature with regard to nerve stimulation. nothing to do with actual temperature, your 80/20 mixture is good till about 14F (-10C). So if you plan on hitting the track again and don't feel like switching back and forth i'm sure you'll be good for a while.
Just some food for thought.

If the temperature of the air is 33 degrees and the wind chill is 10 degrees the coolant in the radiator will not drop any lower than 33 degrees. If the ambient temp is lower than 32 when you are on track you have other issues to worry about, like traction.

I can understand that however I don't have anymore track days and I'm about a month out of putting it in storage for the winter so I don't want to leave it all winter with that much water. So again can someone comment on the proper way to return to stock specs?
