So I bring my black lab everywhere. He comes to work with me everyday and so on. Because of this I never take the vette because he's 75lbs and don't want him trashing the seat. In my s2000 I simply removed the seat and he would lay down there but I don't think I want to do there here. Any thoughts on what you guys are using as far as seat covers or something?

Wouldn't a heavy blanket do the job?

I would hate to bring my wife to work with me every day. I doubt she would enjoy the lunch time walks as much as us. But a girlfriend may be worth a shot. Thanks for the useful post

For short rides but its more about the seat back. No matter how I try to put a blanket on there, it falls off really quick

Just thought of getting a bungee between the shoulder strap holes in the seat to keep the blanket in place. Guess I need to post this to think of that lol. Might work

What about a seat cover of some kind. Know that Mid-America and some of the other vendors have some seat covers that may work for you, and then use blanket on top for the seating area.

Look at the following link for some ideas to start

Something like this should do the trick. It's what I use in my C5Z to protect my Sparco's when I bring my dachshund with me places. Wish I had a job where I could take her to work with me, that would be great. What kind of work do you do where you can do that?

That's perfect. I wanted something that's quick to install/remove unlike a full seat cover. Thanks! I own timepieceperfection.com we sell high end watches.

Here's a live shot of him in my office. I just interrupted his nap lol.

I have a Rivers West Tundra blanket that I use in the backseat of my truck. I fashioned some velcro straps to loop over the headrests. Blanket is heavy fleece material, waterproof, and rolls up and stows using the attached handle strap.

Tundra Blanket

Vizsla pictured on the site is not mine, but at least they have good taste in dogs.

What a cool dog. I think it's nice that you value him that much.

Dogs are awesome friends, aren't they?

Petsmart has car seat covers.., I have one. They sell several different versions for bench type seats as well as bucket type seats. Check them out either online, or in store. Btw.. I have two baby horses.. 85lbs Golden Retrievers!!! Should've seen the looks I got with either one of them in my old C6 Z-06.

I love my animals and I take 1 of them. In my truck and my girl friend
hauls her dog in the truck. But that's where it stops.
Corvette time does not include a dog in my Corvette.

I have a 60 lb boxer pup would love to take him with me but he chews everything and is in constant motion. Maybe when he grows up I can look into how to protect the vett.

In addition to seat covers, blankets or whatever you decide to use, be sure to keep the pups claws trimmed and filed down so there is much less chance of them accidentally poking a hole into the seats or scratching something. As long as you take precautions you'll be fine. Nice pup by the way.
