the stock A8 has already gone 10.42 on its stock tire!3/10's quicker than the Speciale.Anyone can lose in the wrong gear and configuration

I think it's because there are videos of the A8 beating the hellcat and the Viper and the opposite with the M7. Either way, there are so many different variables to consider for each race. In my opinion the M7 would be a lot of fun to drive but the A8 would be easier to launch out of the box.
I'm still stuck between both transmissions and just wish I could own one of each!

I have to admit, I'm a little surprised with this result.
I would have expected the Z06 to punish the 458S. On paper the 458S is a pretty impressive machine, but its actual objective performance stats aren't anything like what Ferrari claims for it. It's not a lightweight, it's a porker (again, despite Ferrari's claims). There are a number of reports of 458S's not really being any quicker than a "plain" 458 from a roll. They certainly don't trap anywhere near 135mph, at least, the customer cars don't.
