Simple solution at this point: email GM stating that unless instructed otherwise writing, you will pay for the repairs yourself and submit that invoice for reimbursement.
If you did not receive reimbursement promptly, simply turn it over to a lawyer and at that point your damages will include legal fees etc.

After only two weeks of the run around you speak of, I would have lawyered up and gotten this "handled." It sounds like you have the means - I'd go that route. Time is to valuable to play this game with them. I truly believe GM Customer service was one of the first budgetary cuts they made.
I was very patient. And due to the fact i have been transfered at first to a different lady, then the lady got the week off. I was thinking well **** happens. And he lady had the week off so I understood the delay at first.
Then was giving this guy (Miles) a chance to do his work and gave him time because he just took my case. So it was just a process. If i knew this would happen, i would have called my lawyer even before I called GM. But i trusted that this matter is simple and its just a basic misunderstanding that will be resolved in no time. Man i was wrong!!!!

Man that really sucks. You are handling it better than I would. Send in the Marines and call a lawyer. If you have to ship it back to the States you should be reimbursed.

OP, it seems GM of late has been hard on people they consider unlicensed exporters (buying a car stateside and then shipping overseas to sell at a profit outside GM channels). I am not suggesting in anyway that this describes your situation, just mentioning it so you it comes as no surprise to you as this goes forward. The best surprise is no surprise.
Hope your situation is resolved to your satisfaction very soon.

Thank you. Didnt know such info was available. I will def get couple emails sent out. Will not even attempt to call them today. But for sure will do tomorrow and talk to the supervisor that i talked to on friday. I told here she will here from me Wed if no one calls me.
I am surprised at GM's reaction though; disappointing to say the least. Good luck bro.

I just put an inground pool in for my wife with my C7 Z06 money, and after reading some of the horror stories here, I'm glad she talked me into it. Who knows, at this point I could have no pool, and a $100,000 boat anchor in my garage that GM doens't want to fix. Way to go GM.

I just made a wrong click and lost what I was almost ready to post....bummer
My point was (besides feeling bad for you because of your GM horror story)........
Did your ZO6 receive the recommended break in service such as timely oil and filter changes, and are they recorded (as in you having receipts)?
Seems to me this will be the deciding factor for authorizing warranty work per GM warranty requirements....... not because the car is no longer in the US
I wish you the best

What does the warranty has anything to do with exporting the car anyway???
I also bought cars with mark ups? How come GM is not doing anything about that??? there is times where i biught a car and didnt last more than a month or two. Whither its finicial or just dont like the car or any reason doesnt mean i am in the business To make profit. Heck in most cases i lose money. One example my c7 z06 that was listed for sale after only a month of owning it. I still have it. Ended up selling couple other cars that i have, and just kept it and decided to make it more of a race car.
There are cars that i kept for years, and some only for months. They cant tell me what to do with my cars. They sure can stop selling cars to me if they choose to, cant stop giving me warranty.

Wow, this story does much more than just reflect poorly on the C7Z06, but reflects poorly on GM and all of their cars

Wonder how many more are going to blow up before GM admits there is a problem. Looks to me like the LT4 is going to be another LS7 that may go at any time, only in this case it appears no one actually knows why they are popping. Hard to believe there is such poor QC at GM these days

Less than 300 miles? Bring back to states and have gm buy it back. Mine had 532 miles and they bought mine back no questions asked.

Your intentions are good and this speaks well of you
On the other hand GM needs to step up to the plate if they ever hope the Corvette to become more than an American wannabe
