Corvette Forum Scoop: Horsepower Figures for Callaway Z06 Announced
I've been working hard to bring you this scoop, and now the info is here. You heard it here first, folks. These are the official numbers for the Callaway Corvette Z06.
Quoted from the full story on the Corvette Forum homepage:
"We've had to wait until today to find out how much horsepower and torque Callaway's track day king will be producing. Now that the automotive engineering firm has achieved final calibration and validation, we can report Callaway has massaged the Z06's 6.2-liter LT4 V8 to 757 horsepower and 777 pound-feet of torque."

take a c3 style stinger hood scoop and blend it in
I think it would look great! make it a "low rise" with just enough clearance to cover the engine rock.
viola!
nice work, I think this blower will gain a following. more room to grow if you think 750 isn't enough
glad to see the MPH in the test too

Ahhhhhhhhhh, Holy Crap! That's amazing...I cant wait to see these run now. Like someone said, all the heat issues are solved and more power for that price is nothing! I cant wait to see the Videos!

I just want to make sure I understand this correctly. If you spend an additional $23,055, you can get the ZCR option (C7.R Edition Coupe) which gives you no performance enhancements at all and overheats on the track. Or you can spend an additional $16,995 and get a Z06 that's significantly more powerful and supposedly doesn't overheat?

Where it will excel of course is on the drag strip; street racing, (stupid, just my humble opinion), and of course at Cars and Coffee.

Scraping the splitter.
If it generates more horsepower it's going to generate more heat to the cooling system. I don't think that flowing air over the blower housing is going to have much, if any, effect on coolant and oil temps.
But this is pretty awesome...757/777...very cool!
Just IMO.

I'm surprised that will all their engineering capability that all they have done is add a better supercharger.
They should be quite capable of looking at the entire package and definitively solving the heating issues.
I applaud their 3 intercooler design but that will do nothing for the oil and water overheating. Heat soak, at the track, really is not the issue here.
C'mon Callaway, build a complete system that will fix the issues once and for all.
If you don't I, or another aftermarket manufacturer, surely will.

I applaud them for the work that they are doing for those that want this sort of upgrade, but desire a factory supported warranty… AandA can't say that… No other aftermarket company can either
Good job guys

Well it's $23k over the base cause it's pretty much fully loaded. But I honestly don't know why you would spend that much when a Z07 can be had cheaper (even with the 3lz package). Funny thing to point out btw. Some guy was trying to sell his regular Z06 (stage 1 car, not sure on interior package) for $105k so he could buy a C7R Edition

Got Boost?!
Callaway Chris, does this price INCLUDE all shipping and handling fees back and forth between your shop and the dealership?
