The car looks great. I almost ordered Chrome but ordered the silver instead. With the shark grey, all the else look great. Personal choice makes each car unique to its owner.

Looks great getting rid of the awful chrome. I wish they would come out with a really nice polished and updated comp gray color, which is still my favorite. I thought I would keep my chromes too when I took them off at 3500 miles. After taking up room in my garage I was never so happy to see them go when I sold them. I never would have put them back on and now I even hate the pictures of the car I have when I had them on. My prediction is you will be selling those things in short order.

Everyone has their right to like what they like... That being said, I have been "over" chrome for many years now, almost a decade. Chrome does have it's place, a silver Z06 I believe looks good with Chrome wheels, but I also think it looks better with gloss black. I am just happy that GM finally got on the bandwagon with black wheels, really helps pull them into a younger demographic and along with the C7 redesign has sales volumes back to great levels for this car. It is great they still offer a Chrome for those who want it, it is your car, do what you like.

BTW OP, your Z looks amazing with the black wheels, really took it to a meaner, more aggressive look IMO.
