Probably most have done so. My state (North Carolina) requires tint compliance measurements as part of the annual vehicle inspection, so it is tough to get tints darker than the legal maximum, which is 35% and nothing on the windshield.

I would love to see an AW with the 35 tint on it. I'm in Michigan and plan to get mine tinted.

I think 35% is pretty standard. I believe that's the limit in Texas as well. The windows on my Z06 all say "70% transmissive minimum" so if I understand that correctly, all I could legally do would be another 5%, correct?

Got mine tinted at the same place as CaryBob. Do it, you'll be glad you did.

Thanks. Looks familiar huh? With the exception of my c3, I've gotta got a silver collection going. Carbon fiber side skirts and front splitter going on the z06 this weekend.

I did not want to go too dark as it makes it difficult to see out of at night. I went with LLumar CTX 40% VLT. While it is on the lighter side, the black interior helps to darken it up.

Default Hot in AZ

I did mine a couple of months ago. An absolute necessity in AZ.

I'm in Michigan. 50% front, 20% sides and back. Not legal but I haven't had any problems.
Had the Caddy done a couple of weeks after I bought it.
Liked it so much I had the Z06
Done at the dealer before I took delivery.
Feels like you are overdriving the lights if speeding after dark.
But fine at posted speeds.
The look is amazing though.

I did my Z06 right after I got it. Now that I'm in Sebring, I need to find another installer for my Z51. Tint makes a big difference here in the sunny south. I noticed that my air conditioner works much less with a good tint.

Florida legal on the sides. Tad darker backs and hatch, subtle front tint. See son washing future ride...

Man, I like your car. Doing the halo really makes a great improvement. Well done!

Thank you, I had that done in Carbon Flash Wrap when I had the Jake installed about a month ago. I may switch the front tint to 40% tomorrow. Still undecided.

Update: today is tomorrow. I will take some pics same time same location to get as close to possible the difference with door open pic side by side
