Default Off site delivery of a Z06/Z07-Ferraris- and many more Z06 delivery pics****

I haven't done an off site Corvette delivery in many years but I felt it was necessary this past Wednesday. Jack S of St Michaels, MD has a home approx 95 miles from Criswell which is on 100 acres with 3,000 foot frontage to the St Michaels River/Chesapeake. So I took the trip over the Bay Bridge with his impeccable directions. When I got to his driveway there was a posted 10 MPH sign. It took me 5 minutes to drive the length of his driveway. Jack gave me the grand tour like the gracious host he is and I finally met his wonderful wife as well. Last year Jack bought two 2014 Stingrays from me. One Arctic White Z51 Cpe and one Z51 Torch Red Convt. Jack traded in the Convt on the new Shark Gray with Kalahari interior Z06/Z07 cpe. We went to Lunch in town and enjoyed the great food and even better view of the water. My driving impression of the Z06/Z07 compared to my Z06 is that the suspension is just a tad stiffer and the tires were very comfortable on this trip. It drove very similar to mine and I am sure the big difference would be on the track, the Z07 would save precious time! At the end of the day Jack gave me a nice bottle of wine from his son's Napa Winery that he has an interest in and I drove off in his Torch Red Z51 Convt trade in. Coming and going I had a great ride! I didn't get to see all his car collection but I did view 3 really cool Ferrari's! The New Blue one is a hard top Convt!

~Larry M of Hillsboro, Oregon bought a 2014 Z51 from me and this year he ordered a 2015 Z06 Convt in Torch Red with Red interior. I had it drop shipped to his local Chevrolet dealer and last week he drove it home. Stunning from top to bottom.

~Jack S of Des Moines, Iowa ordered a 2015 Silver Convt to be drop shipped to his local Chevrolet dealer and took courtesy delivery last week.
He shared some great pics. Options are 8spd Auto, NPP exhaust, black wheels, 2LT and a Z51 spoiler.

~James W and his wife from Kenosha, Wisc had their new '15 Z51 cpe drop shipped to their local dealer and took courtesy delivery yesterday. Unfortunately it rained but his new Daytona Sunrise Orange Z51 still looks sharp. Options are 2LT pkg, Transparent top, Carbon flash hood stripe, Mag ride 7spd manual chrome wheels, to name a few.

~Charles R and his wife Karen of York, PA Factory ordered a new 2015 Z06 Convt in Silver with Red Comp seats and Black top. The Spectra Gray wheels look great on this combo. 3LT and loaded! Yesterday they drove down with their Corvette friend who was wearing the same Spring Mountain Corvette shirt as I.

~Carlos O from Alexandria, VA was referred in to me by another Stingray customer and Carlos ordered a Laguna Blue Z51 cpe with 1LT, Transparent top, Mag ride, Red Calipers, Auto trans and black wheels. Yesterday he and his daughter picked up his 3rd Corvette that he has owned. He sold his 2005 Millenium Yellow cpe and was looking forward to the C7 experience.

~The Corvette world lost a great Corvette Dealer this past week. Bob McDorman shown seated in his truck with my friend Jim. Bob owned a Chevrolet dealership in Ohio for decades and at one time had a 600 car collection, many serial # 1's etc. Bob was a very charitable man and will be missed by all.

~Indy 500 Z06 Pace Car from last week's Race driven by Jeff Gordon.

~My friend Mark Reuss, spent some time with him at Lemans a few yrs ago. He is a great leader for GM.

~Throwback pictures....

~Last C3 off the St Louis production line...

~Have a great Sunday and Don't forget to wave at all the Corvettes on the roads around you!

From James W in Wisconsin after up his Daytona Sunrise Orange Z51 cpe...
Not the nicest day to take delivery and pics! Rainy and about 45 degrees out here in Wisconsin. Always wanted a corvette. I have never sat in one nor driven one…not even for a test drive when putting a deposit down for a C7. Let me tell you…from the minute I started the engine and drove for 5 minutes I fell in love. This car is just awesome…thank you Mike for making this dream come true. I can’t say enough about this car…so much fun. Now i just need some nice weather…
Thanks again!

Hey, I know that winery in Napa, not far from where I live!

Happy to see a Ferrari owner order the Kalahari interior on the Z06 - I first thought about getting a red interior, but with the Long Beach Red exterior I decided to go Kalahari interior. Think it will be a good match for the new red. I guess I'll find out when I take delivery!

Great choice, the Kalahari will look stunning with Long Beach Red metallic.
