The transparent tops do not have painted edges. Only the exposed carbon fiber have painted edges.

Can you see out through the carbon fiber roof tops, or just the (tinted?) glass tops? Mine only came with the solid body color matching top, and I am thinking about getting a top I can see out of -----thinking that would be nice, especially at night. Thank you.

I have both the exposed carbon fiber top with white spears and I had my clear top spears painted the same. Love them both but clear top is on 95 percent of the time!

Same here.. Had my transparent spears painted and rock it all the time..

Only the transparent roof panel is transparent. Carbon fiber and visible carbon fiber panels are not transparent.

Thanks-----seems most use the transparent roof most of the time if they have it. I think I will look into it-----if the cost is reasonable I just may get one this Spring when the snow and road salt is all gone. Thanks again.

I had transparent roof on last Vette and bought the padded sunshade for it as I could feel lots of heat about 5" from top of roof down to my forehead. Thought I'd use it just in hot part of summer but ended up leaving it on all the time. Sure made it easier to air condition or heat.
