tire question
Is there any size run flat by any manufacturer that's just a little different but will work? When I bought my 2007 ZO6 the tires were also hard to get so I ran run flats that were made for a dodge viper, The size was just a little different but they were just fine.

Just bought a full set of Pirelli P Zero Run Flats from T*re R*ck......285/30/19 for 305.00/each, and 335/25/20 for 365.00/each.

Several different manufacturers provide them in sizes that are close enough to fit with no problem. I wouldn't go smaller but I would go a little bigger especially on the front where a 285 tire works a little better than a 275 tire.
I currently have Michelin PS2 Run Flats on my car now. They come with a little more tread depth than the stock EMTs and seem to handle well. Right after I put them on I drove from upstate NY to Key West and back with a stop for a couple of days at the NCM Sebring event. They did well on the track, worked well in heavy rain (I never had an issue with the stock EMTs in that regard), seemed to wear well but made just as much noise (different frequency and on different road surfaces).
