Depends on what you are trying to accomplish...

Two completely different cars. I love the looks and ride of the Z06. The A8 rides and drives like a Cadillac compared to the Z/28. Of course some will disagree with me, but they are probably comparing it to something more harsh, but the Z/28 is NOT good for a daily driver...

Now if you are looking for chicks.. This is just an observation, as I am married... But, EVERY girl that has seen them both side by side in my garage pick the Z/28 for looks without hesitation. They say they like the brawniness look of if compared to the curves of the Z06, which then seems to make sense why guys would love the Vette... Also surprisingly too is most girls even like the Z/28 interior better, although I don't see why...

I consider it a fair test too, because since I own both, they can be brutally honest as they can't really hurt my feelings either way...lol...

Agreed, but you should know why with all those roads up in KC, there are potholes up there that will swallow a tractor

Nice Vette! I really want to buy a Z06, but I have a new baby (first kid) and the idea of the back seats really draws me to the Camaro. It will be a weekend toy, but me and my wife use to do car show's then dinner on friday nights. That's out with the Vette. I do plan on tracking either one I go with. I guess I'll see with the Gen 6 Camaro in a few weeks looks like. Till then I'll keeping tossing both Z's up in my head.

Getting ready to order (probably a '16) and am leaning towards your exterior colors. It looks great.
The interior color is where I'm stuck. Hear there are new options in this area so will wait to see what's offered (if they offer Brownstone in the Z06 I will get that).
Anyway congrats on your color choice as it looks amazing! Do you have any interior shots?

--- I loved that "take" on the thoughts on looks comparison etc..... Its Much like my g8Gxp to c5z06.... Both genders Love the Gxp and give thumbs up ANd Most Are not sure what it is BUT LOVe it!!!(and interior is UNMeasurable compared to the c5 ofcourse).... and as for the c5z it takes a CarGUY to really see it and understand the difference (from standard c5) ....

this car looks better without the side aero. When the car is properly lowered, it looks better without them, IMO.

I'm going back and forth on the aero packages as well. However, I do like the Stage 2 rear spoiler better so I guess that could always be ordered separate.

I'm more concerned with street driving than track driving and low splitters tends to get chopped up pretty bad due to the sharp angled access roads in Florida to promote rain run-off.

I think lowering with the Stage 1 front splitter and Stage 2 rear spoiler might work.

Go stage 1, paint the stage 1 front splitter carbon flash, and go aftermarket for a rear spoiler. The stage 2/3 rear spoiler looks horrible...I would much rather have a Z51 style rear spoiler, especially if you do not intend on tracking the car.

I would like to ask a question about tire wear after lowering.. do u see significant differences in inner tire wear or any unbalanced tire tread wear. Thanks in advance

1. those lowering by bolt
2. and those lowering by aftermarket suspension.

population 3 except mine was the ZL1 version lol. I too wanted more power and I wanted to keep the creature comforts i was accustomed to with the Zl1
