Default Intake Installed (NO TUNE)

Yesterday I install a modify AFE Intake (NO TUNE) on my Z06 (150 miles with the intake so far)
All threads of intakes on the forum are regarding dyno numbers and most of them came from the vendor, so I just want to share my experience like a customer. (When I have the chance I will dyno the car)

First of all the car feel faster for sure, the throttle response is a lot better, the car feels is pulling harder on top end, but the sound inside is the same as the stock one (exhaust is too loud) outside you can hear the "air sucking" of the intake and the "whining" of the supercharger a little bit more

I also order the Halltech Intake to compare them in every way.

Here is a quick videos of the car with the Intake...

Change them to HD Please

I had the AFE in my 2014 C7 and did like it, I also got a 4MPG increase cruising on the highway with it.
My Z06 is in a rail yard waiting for shipment. I did get in on the group buy for the Haltech CAI. I would like to hear your opinions on both, when you get it. Thanks.

60-130 seems on the slower side 9 secs +/-. these cars need some Bolt ons hehehe.

If these cars are running close to 125-130 mph in the 1/4 mile I believe the 60-130 should be 8-8.5 seconds or so.

I haven't record any 60-130 run with stock intake to compare it, but I will dyno it soon

I would hesitate to try and gather 60-130 data from the PDR videos. From what I have seen (and relative to data logging my own car), the PDR display is most certainly based on the speedometer and not the PDR GPS. This may have something to do with NHTSA requirements for a fail-proof mechanical measurement vs. a GPS-based measurement.
Also, weber is in freaking Puerto Rico. If you think it is hot and humid in Florida...go to Puerto Rico. FWIW I have had some great times in Isla Verde...particularly at the Ritz-Carlton.
