Some dealers are discounting - see other threads here - but GM has not made the Z06 eligible for the ones you mention.

Be patient. Some dealers are doing a small amount of discounting, mainly on M7's, but it's still early for the usual new model, in this case Z06, supplier/employee discounts to start happening. By next winter, if history is any barometer, good discounts should be happening, just like happened after the new vette crazy stampede subsided on the C7. As we all know, new 2015 Stingray's can be had from the big forum dealers for 10/11 percent off MSRP now. The Z06 will likely follow the same pattern.

These car are not gonna be discounted because of the demand. Any one saying they are getting discounts please show your purchase sheet. You can't even usually get decent financing on these types of vehicles. Please SHOW YOU DISCOUNTS or quite talking about it. All the I'm not buying a car at MSRP is ridiculous, 100 thousand dollar car and and your going to wait for discount. ALL BS. You never intend on buying a car and you are a sh-- disturber. These will not be discounted until supply and demand is not there. We are lucky we are not paying premium on these vehicles.

Actually, there are small discounts on the Z06. You have to hunt for it. There are low interest rates available. My credit union (Central One Credit Union) is offering .99%.

I did, Lol. I got a great interest rate due to my credit and paid MSRP and no more. Please post these discounts for us all to see if they are there. Financing is financing, But discounts are totally different. I own a business so I don't have a problem saving money. All i'm saying is if you go to buy a Cobra, hellcat, you will pay premium. The viper and the vet you can get Msrp on! Personal experience.

I agree with you that people are wrong to say they will never pay MSRP. If you want the car, think it's a good value, and that's the best you can find, then do it!

Otherwise I disagree with you. I am paying about $6k under MSRP for an ordered M7 Z06 2LZ coupe. That's as detailed as I'm willing to list my personal finances on the internet. I'm telling people this to give one data point as to what is possible. I'm okay with you not believing me. If I was faking, it would be very easy to make up some document to post on here.

I will add... I don't own the car yet. It is being built next week. I have the deal in writing, but unfortunately it is always possible for a deal to fall through before it has been completed. I certainly hope there are no issues.

There is another three months of production left on the 2015's and that equals about 3700 Z06's. A little over 4400 Z06's have already been produced. As we get closer to the changeover to the 2016's(June 22), many people will decide to wait and purchase a 2016, and there will be unsold 2015's sitting on the dealers lots and they will be discounted.

Count on it. Maybe no huge discounts, but many dealers now selling for MSRP will be discounting to clear their showroom.

I'm betting that upwards of $5000-$6000 discounts will be common place by January 2016.

When your deal is closed then tell me about it, Your deal is not done yet and you won't know till you sit down and do the paperwork. People have been promised MSRP and there dealership lied to them and wanted premium. Please post were you are getting discounts so others can benefit, so what is the secret. Please explain how to get a discount!!!

I explained my process in post #28 of this thread:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...the-z06-2.html

It involves determination, timing, and luck. But It is more repeatable than, "My best friend owns a dealership."

I will report back once the car is mine ... unless I'm too excited and forget all my other obligations.

If you honestly believe supplier and GMS will not be available In the next 6-12 months you don't know GM. It's how the process works. There will be an over supply some time in within the next year. Same will apply to hellcats, ford gt350's, CTS V's. 1st year hot and no discounts. Demand for summer use and pleasure car vehicles only last until early adopters have to have immediately. You can go back 15 years but you can go back 11 months if you like. Stingray was the same way. No discounts ever!!! GMS and supplier can be had at request now.

Z28 sticker, best handling car Gm ever made blah blah. 20% off a month ago.

Sorry discounts will happen.

I got $6500 off MSRP including GM points and they also threw in the CF dash and a Suede OEM wheel (another $1k) as they were parts I wanted. This deal was secured over a month ago. GMS is still not eligible though.
