I'm your twin in Dallas. Only difference is I have not lowered mine yet (and my 5% tint all around). How did your install of the WCC? Did you try just lowering on the stock bolts and found that the stiffer Z07 suspension made the back tide too high? I presume you lowered the 3/4th front yourself?

The install was more involved then I thought it would be, I took it down to my local shop and they helped me install them. The WCC bolts were dropped all the way and gave it about a 3/4 drop and the front were done at the PDI of the car. Yes I did have the rear done and it only dropped it the 1/4 due to the z07 stiffer suspension. I wouldn't go any lower due to drivability. After the drop of the rear I took it right to my alignment shop to bring it back to factory specs.

Are pot holes and roads an issue where you live? What did they charge you for the install?

I'm in California so roads are bad everywhere! I'm very comfortable driving lowered vettes, this is my third z06 and it's not slammed. I paid 350 for everything, it took about 3 hrs total and that subtle drop changed the look tremendously.

Awesome man! I did the WCC's at all four corners for "two fingers" of clearance and re-aligned. I had no choice as my rear did not settle enough on the stock bolts.

Do you plan to track her? There's another good thread below about finding the balance of lowering w/o compromising track performance. I'm trying to walk that fine line now. Plan to track at COTA this spring, but want to lower as much CG as possible w/o lossing anything.

Your car is the reason I ordered the WCC bolts, the only reason I didn't change the fronts to the WCC bolts is because I didnt wanna go any lower in the front, I think I lucked out with the rear matching so close

Nice. Isn't the forum great. Your car looks sick, I love black. My C6Z06 was black so this time I went red.

i just got my BS Z/Z07 last week and am considering lowering it as i have each of my 3 previous C5's and C6's.

i do think they look better lowered, but i am concerned about damage to the CF air dam on the stage 111. it was a little different to scrape a rubber air dam on a base C6. also, i found that the aftermarket lowering bolts caused squeaks against the leaf spring.
