Default First Z06 Advertised Discount I've Seen

I just saw the first advertised discount that I've seen on a dealership Z06. They posted it on Facebook today. I removed the phone number and dealership information because they aren't a forum supporting dealership. $1,000 isn't much, but it's the first movement away from MSRP that I've seen.

2015 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 MSRP $102,340 -- I am offering this $1,000 UNDER STICKER!! Crazy I know!! But we need to make room for more! Contact me quick! Call my cell phone to arrange pickup/delivery!

Carbon Fiber Exposed Removable Roof and Carbon Fiber Visible Package. Battery Protection Package, Carbon Badge Package, Custom Leather Wrapped Interior Package, Memory Package, Preferred Equipment Group 3LZ (Auto-Dimming Inside Frameless Rearview Mirror, Bose Advanced 10-Speaker Audio System Feature, Head-Up Display, Heated & Vented Driver & Passenger Seats, Power Lumbar/Bolster Seat Adjusters, Radio: Chevrolet MyLink w/Navigation, Theft Deterrent System, and Universal Home Remote), Sueded Microfiber-Wrapped Interior Trim Package, Z07 Performance Package, Carbon Flash-Painted Outside Mirrors, Napa Perforated Leather Seating Surfaces, and Wheels: 19" x 10" Fr & 20" x 12" Rr Z06 Black Alum. Don't miss the superb bargain! Your time is almost up on this fully-loaded 2015 Chevrolet Corvette. The pin-you-to-your-seat performance of this great Corvette will make it a favorite among our more passionate buyers. Home of the Dayton area's ONLY MotorTrend Certified Advantage Dealer!!! UPDATE:
Just talked to the dealership about this one. This one sold quickly. They sold it for $1,000 under MSRP, just like they advertised it. They have another one coming in and will also sell it for $1,000 under MSRP. Their doc fee is normally $250 but they told me they wouldn't lose a sale over $250. The dealership is going to post the specs and pics on the one coming in once it arrives and I'll post that here once it's available.

would be interesting to read the fineprint and see a "doc fee" of 500 and an advertising fee of 500.. for a net total of MSRP.
Better yet, i already saw someone claiming under MSRP and had a market adjustment of thousands of dollars. So this may not really be under MSRP if further scrutinized.

There is a loaded up highly optioned 3lz z07 with disco chrome wheels at a dealership in st. louis. They were advertising this pink elephant at 1k off.

Then when you get there it's actually 1000.00 of the "market adjustment."

I hope you are right. But these local dealers are greedy.

I paid MRSP for my A8 Z06 and I could see the M7 cars being discounted already. Many dealers have M7's in stock and need to move them. I think the A8 Z06's will be discounted in September when the 2016's come out.
Between the Gas Guzzler tax and the A8 option and now the available discounts, I could probably save 5k if I wanted an M7 Z06, but thats the price you pay if you want to play.
I'm sticking with my A8

I have no doubt the discont is real. However, I'd be more impressed if this wasn't such a highly optioned car. Seriously, who wants to pay sticker for a $100k car as optioned by the dealer? I would prefer to option it myself OR find a 1LZ with few options and take that same discount.

Dealers I have spoken to rather not sell the car than sell it at less than MSRP.
Amazing.

I am actually thinking of replacing the comp grey's with Chrome Spiders or Zr1 wheels. I like the disco look. didn't mean anything negative . other than this Z06 was loaded up and will probably sit a while before it sells at 1k off sticker

Amazing.
They are all afraid to be the first to discount, but it will come...as soon as the model year ends and they have cars left it will happen, always has, always does, always will.

I have posted multiple times about discounts being available.

I just got a $102,325 MSRP car for $95k and also got a Suede Wheel and CF Dash thrown in.

Discounts are out there but some guys insist on buying at MSRP.

So how much does a dealer make in selling a loaded out Z06/Z07 at window sticker? 10,000, 12,000, 15,000?
Anybody know?

That's awesome!

The one I posted about was the first I had personally seen actually advertised publicly with a discount.

That's pretty cool in the current frenzy, can you share the dealer? If not a Forum dealer please PM me, thanks.

I did a real quick spec out on a fully loaded Z06/Z07 convertible and came up with the following:

$124,970 - MSRP
$111,439 - Dealer Invoice
$107,758 - Dealer Cost

$17,212 difference between MSRP and Dealer Cost.
