2015 Z06 Black well more like Charcoal.
Picked car up last Saturday evening pointed out to dealer before leaving.
For those of us who have black its not black more like charcoal....
And no it's not a transparent top, and even if it were car is not black....
Car has to be in partial shade to show up like in the pic.

How about a shot in normal light rather than high intensity lighting that shows the vette as it has yet to be seen? Transparent means you can see through it; otherwise it might say clear. It almost looks like you altered the picture so the colors were off.
Oh and ya...congrats on your new purchase, great first post!

You are correct transparent means when you see through it, poor paint coverage over gray under coat gives you results like what you see here at least whoever painted the top put enough base coat down to cover the primer/sealer coat.

No high intensity lighting here just what god provides us everyday, some days brighter than others, this day was pretty dismal for us. also saw it with sale man when I drove him down the street to fill up the car, under the canopy of the gas station lights.
Just putting it out there so others can check theirs.

Scraping the splitter.
I misread the OP and thought that was a transparent top. Something is seriously not right.
How could GM paint two totally different shades of black? That's not a little different, that's a lot different.
How about a picture of the entire car to see how the roof looks relative to the other panels?

my 13 ZR1 had the same issue with the hood. in my garage if you looked at the car the hood was that milky greyish black color but the rest of the body was dark black. i had the dealer look at and they agreed and GM gave the ok to repaint the hood under warranty. i never got it done but if it bothers you then see if the dealer can repaint the panels in question.
