Since you don't have a ZR1 and are new Corvette's I can understand.
The C7 is old news and are showing up in big numbers yet their are still people who haven't seen or been in a ZR1. Much cooler car than the all over the place C7. Still have only seen 2-3 ZR1's in the wild.
Far from a waxer like you.. My C7 even with Supercharger kit was just not as cool or was nearly fast as the ZR1.
Best Corvette's to own is the ZR1/ the 2015 Z06 and the C6 Z06.
That's the 3 to have not the C7 slower than the 3 mentioned.
Can't figure out where you would be where a C7 collect's a crowd people? Maybe over a year ago

If the C7 is old news than the C6 ZR1 is ancient news Also a regular old C7 with an ECS kit would beat a stock ZR1 so I am not sure what kind of supercharger was on your C7. As far as saying which 3 models people should own don't you think that is kind of silly?? I could have had a ZR1 or Z06 but chose my Z51 and I am quite happy with it. I wouldn't trade it for any C6.
ZR1> C7 Honestly the C7 does not hold or carry value like A ZR1 which still sells high as it is the fastest GM car made.
Some haven't seen one or if they have just one. I see 3-4 C7's every day.
Figure on a catch can and oil issues on your Supercharged C7!
Then a meth kit and the list goes on and "just a kit" is a lot of work becomes a never ending saga! Lt1 sucks in my opinion.
The Z51 gears are a joke for a supercharged car. Base gears are better.
The C6 Z06 supercharged powders them all! Check 8's for 1/4 times
many many in the 9's.

ZR1 is the king of the hill. Nothing has changed.
I'm sure the Z06 is a better daily driver but since when has that been an important consideration for most of the guys here who only drive their cars 5 months of the year?
C6ZR1 prices are going to stay strong.

However, when it comes to which one is the best track rat, 99 times out of 100 the new C7ZO6 will be the first to the finish line.

Sure! Since the ZR1 carries way more clout than the C7. 10 times more cars than a ZR1 and counting.

I beg to differ here! The ZR1 doesn't seem to get beat by much out there in straight line performance unless the other car is modded. Just from video runs I've seen it seems the ZR1 surely holds its own and will definitely pull away from the Z06 among others.
