I find it as offense as everyone else, and wouldn't do business with them, but I'm guessing there is a reason they let someone walk out the door who was not willing to pay the premium. Like Southern California, that's a very wealthy area with consumers that have money to burn willing to pay a $10k convenience charge to buy locally.
When I tell friends I bought my Z in Atlantic City they think I've lost my mind. They have no idea how this market works.

I went to place my order today and the dealer Lou Bachrodt in Pomp Beach FL after we went through the entire order process they told me they now wanted $10k over. I reminded the mgr that I was wiling to pay msrp, he commented saying their sister store is getting $20k over. They had a new Z vert available on the showroom floor which I could somewhat understand paying a moderate premium for since you could take immediate delivery, but for an ordered car no way. I will now be contacting another dealership that 2 forum members kindly recommended, but will insist they put in writing the sale will be at msrp only before I trek up there. The mgr said he has people wanting to sell them their place/car for $6k over...don't know if that's true or not, but what a turn off.

Funny thing is they had an unsold z vert in the showroom, but I guess for 10-20 over may explain why it's still there.

--Just looked, make that 42 now on e-bay, let alone other places like auto trader and such......

Discounts/lower prices are already available at some dealerships. Jon Hall Chevrolet in Daytona Beach has 4 Z06's on their lot, and they called and told me Friday that on 3 of them they would negotiate below MSRP.

Check book in hand and not on a fishing expedition ? They'll deal unless the dealership is dumb. And yes, there are still some out there like that.

I live right next to the OP's dealer (the "sister store" in Coconut Creek) and there is a reason they call them Lou Backstab...
Although I don't have a C7 Z06- it would be the last place i'd go to buy one, let alone allow them to work on my C6...

No other hidden fees...just the standard fees for taxes...plates and such.....now in the quote I had a 1300 Gas Guzzler Tax...wasn't happy about that....nothing the dealer could do he said. the Manuals don't have that just the A8's....

Buy one somewhere else and have it shipped to you.

Try it, build a base Z06 or a fully optioned one and use your own calculator to tally it all up... compare your total and you'll see that the final sum in the online builder does not include the GG Tax for M7 Z06's...
Here's an example...

Thanks to all again.
It's amazing, there's some dealers that have unsold Z's on their lots and want 10-20 over because you don't have wait, and others that have them will discount because they're on their lots and unsold.
