I'm currently driving a 620hp 04 Z06 and have so far really enjoyed it, especially at the track.

Having said that, in a few years I would LOVE to own a convertible, auto Z06. And this one looks killer!

Excellent choice, neighbor. I'll have to stay out of your neck of the woods until I get mine or the Stingray will get an inferiority complex.

can someone fill a rookie in on how you lower the car on stock bolts - is it something you tell your dealer to do for you, and what range of adjustment do we have, and does it need to be re-aligned -- sorry for being a rookie

Not far behind you. TR, vert, 7m, non Z07. Talked to GM chat and this how it went:

Billy [9:14 AM]: what's the status on order SGSRKC from alabama
Shlita [9:14 AM]: Please allow me a moment to check on that for you.
Shlita [9:17 AM]: Your event code is 4000. The vehicle is currently at the plant awaiting a carrier.
Billy [9:18 AM]: Shlita, that's great. Do you have a vin number?
Shlita [9:19 AM]: Yes, there is a VIN. The VIN is 1G1YT3D61F5602632.

Best looking car I've seen yet. But then again, I'm partial to the color because I've got one in my garage that color.

so how's the car lowered? coil-overs? stock bolts? Extended bolts?
