That's from last year, and just an artist rendering.... nothing from GM

Not bad.
Ford GT slammed down the Gauntlet pretty hard in terms of design.

NOW THAT'S a rendering!!!! Not that round taillight garbage C&D had. Ohhh man, that's wicked looking! I've ALWAYS rejected the mid engine talk, but I have a feeling we may see a HALO Corvette here...

Would make a sick 150k caddy.
Those of you expecting a supercar from Chevrolet. Do you really want chevy dealers to mess with a 150-200k super car? I sure as hell wouldnt. At least with Cadillac there is a chance of good service and being treated well.

That rendering shows some styling. I would buy it if I could justify the dollars. It is less angular than present cars or the fort gt., softer transistions. I like it for a mid engine design.

I think that design has to "grow on you" a little. At first glance or first blush I can't say I really care for it. Just not aggressive enough for me. I love the ZO6 design.

This is probably the first mid engine Corvette drawing that I like. That said I prefer GM steer the budget towards improving the FMR C7 layout. Mid-engined cars are one trick ponies.
If they make it, offer manual, and a large displacement V8 I'd give it some thought.

I get what you're saying, but based on my own personal experiences, Chevy dealers are no more incompetent than Cadillac, Ford, Acura, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, or Range Rover dealers. There are great ones and sh!!ty ones where ever you go. You do some homework and find out who is the best in the area.
