I do road trips, track, even pick my kid up from school. No problems at all...of course, you just have to know where not to go, how to pull into places, what to avoid, etc. Driving low cars has made me even more cautious of my surroundings. Its different..yes. But indeed drive-able.
No need to discredit it especially if you've never driven a very low car.

Man, this section has more hate then any sub forum I've ever been on.
I know the car, and the owner. Car is a daily driver and its just fine. Just have to realize its lowered and drive it properly.

It is Photoshopped. The wheels I believe are actually mounted on the car; very little doubt about that. If theyre Photoshopped on, the PS'er did a good job on that part. The lowering job, however, is Photoshopped. 110% sure. Whoever PS'd it didnt clean up their work and I can see at least three spots that give it away as a PS.

When it comes to lowering, the C7Z introduces a new variable that we have not had to deal with in the past - aero. Wait to 130 mph when the aero shoves the nose down an inch or more and then brake into a sweeper and see what you tear off. Look at the limited action photos of the Z at Nurburgring and notice that it uses all of that "wheel gap' and then some. The car is designed to use a lot of wheel travel to generate the optimum geometry (camber/caster) for proper tire slip angle when cornering. If you are not going to race the car or go fast with stage 2 or 3 aero, lowering is not as much of a problem....just saying.

First set of aftermarket wheels I've seen on a C7Z that I like. Are those 20/21s? They look bigger than 19/20.

Yeah, that just takes learning to drive a lowered car. I don't drive mine over speed bumps, up steep driveways or parking garages. **** that.

I have driven cars that low for well over a decade in the sh*t roads of Pa...if you know how to drive it's fine. You have to take proper approach angles, know where you can and can't go, and not drive with your head in the clouds.
I watch old boys come blasting out of parking lots in vettes, straight forward, both wheels off the curb at same time...I think, Jesus, no wonder these guys are crying about ride height.
Most photos are processed for color enhancement, fill lighting, etc...but saying it's lowered...I mean...

You're not talking about "learning" to drive a lowered car....you are AVOIDING every thing that has ANY incline/decline....I don't think that makes a "learning" experience. You guys are unreal.
Anyone that thinks that a car lowered to the point of the car in the picture is actually DRIVEABLE in the real world is crazy (unless you live in the FLATEST place in the world).

First time I've seen a C7Z that didn't look like it was going off-roading.
Even if it was just a fraction of a bit higher, it would still look great. Those wheels look so much better than the stock wheels (which look like they came from the back of a Hot Rod magazine catalog, IMHO).
Very very nice! GM pay attention!
