I'll post this like I did in the other thread.
The Z06 does not qualify at this time. I personally spoke to the head of Corvette in Detroit about the matter and was told that answer.
You can believe the dealer that's sold more than anyone else for 21 years in a row, the other top 5 dealers here on the forum, the head of Corvette for General Motors or you can believe this dealer who has 3 Corvettes in stock.
My guess is they sold one not realizing it didn't qualify and they are now getting enough phone calls to do a little research to find out their mistake and you won't see this deal again until it's actually part of the program.
The Z06 will eventually qualify for this programs. Maybe in a few months, maybe not till the 2016s come out, but it will qualify. Once it does you will see dealers slowly start to accept it. If you don't need to have the car now and you qualify for those discounts then it's worth the wait.
Normally you don't see GMS on a new model for the first 6 months or so. Since this is only a half year production, it woudn't surprise me if they waited till the 2016s came out to offer it.

So please do tell me how this happen? When I called the dealer they did confirm this too. They said that they weren't holding, it was up to each dealer, why don't you call them, (888) 509-5199

However someone in the other thread you started about this called the dealer and, like I predicted, they are not honoring that price and they asked that people stopped calling them about it.

I'm so confused. The dealership will still make money at supplier pricing. If this dealer is honoring the price without the official GM plan, that sounds great. I doubt they have the allocation for everyone, but we'll see.

I don't need to call the dealer, I actually know what I'm talking about.

Now you are talking about regular Stingrays. Yes, you can get giant discount on Stingrays. You've been able to get them for months at most dealers including us. This is old news. I was simply saying that Z06s don't qualify for GM Pricing.
I'll be happy to answer any question or give my opinion on any topic, but I don't know what you are trying to say. It seems to keep changing.

At least we now have the correct facts. All I have ever wanted and have to sometimes take some flak for it....not a problem.

If they had half a brain the correct answer would be to say" I'm sorry, at this time we are not discounting them, however, if you give me your contact details I would be happy to call you back and let you know when they will be discounted".
Why do dealerships have to be such poor service providing ******? WE are the people with the money.

Supplier wouldn't be a loss, but employee would. The OP originally said the dealer was accepting both. If they accepted Supplier when the car is not eligible they would still make a little. If they accepted Employee when the car is not eligible the dealer would lose a bunch!

Employee pricing is less than invoice minus holdback even. Employee pricing without reimbursement from Chevrolet is a loss. It isn't very far off, but it is below it. It would be a loss even with 0 overhead.
I actually have the hold back amount (combined with wholesale finance credit) in the memo on my invoice as well. I'm not sure my dealer meant to give it to me, but oh well.
