iPhone Infotainment Text Features Don't Work - Any Solution???
Neither I or my dealer can get the text features to work through the Infotainment center with my iPhone 6. Phone is paired via Bluetooth.
Only thing we can get it to do is receive text messages. We can't reply to received message. When we try to reply to a received text by pushing the reply icon it says, Error, can't send text. It won't even let us reply to sender my using the contact by phone icon.
Current text messages on my iPhone don't populate the message list as well.
The iphone "Show Notifications" in the Bluetooth Chevrolet MyLink menu is turned on.
At the dealership we paired a non iPhone to my car via Bluetooth and all Infotainment features worked as they should.
I can't believe I'm the only one who is having this problem?

I have the same question, Actually, it doesn't work at all, Calls incoming and outgoing are fine but that's it.
Need advise, Don't make me call Apple.... heck, they don't have clue.

I'm in the same boat. Doesn't work at all. I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling this feature is only used when you give the car an actual phone number. Remember that option on the OnStar setup? I think beyond it having 4G it can get its own line.

Hell, I even thought maybe it had to be hard wired via phone cable to work like the Pandora app but this didn't change anything.

try Settings > Bluetooth > Chevrolet MyLink info button > Turn on Show notifications
I can't reply to imessage contact, but I do receive them. Can reply to sms messages, but only with canned reply's. Confusing the way iOS merges them all.

Sounds like yours is functioning a bit different than mine. I can receive imessages and SMS messages but can't respond to either in any manner. I can't use canned reply's to respond to SMS messages like you.
Does yours populate the Infotainment Inbox with your phone's text messages. Mine doesn't. Inbox is empty.
