I personally have never really been a big strip fan, but after playing around with what they would look like on the site with the Shark Gray and Blade Silver strips I am glad I stayed with it. I have received a tremendous amount of compliments on the color combination and looks of the car. Bottom line - go with what you like. Its your car!

We ordered our 06/07 AW, body color roof, Red 3LZ int, black wheels, red calipers, & red stripes. I actually wondered if anyone else was ordering stripes as I had not seen any pics of Z06's with stripes until I came across this post. As with any option some like it and some don't. Main thing is that the owner is happy and enjoys the car. Our Z06/07 was built on 1/5 and should be shipping today. Once I get it I will post pics of the car. I noticed that someone posted build pics of how it is built on the second page.

I ordered stripes because I wanted something different from others. I knew that Shark Gray was going to be popular, so I opted for Blade Silver stripes. Once I got the car I added some color to the front fender vents to further separate it from the crowd:

Just wondering if you thought of using Silver vinyl strips instead of the red?

Seem like it would go better with the Silver dual racing stripes better?

I think stripes on vettes look misplaced. Good on Viper, good on fort gt, but not so great on vette as it's more angular. However, I like the pictures of the black z06 with dark grey or mat black stripes to break it up. I think it works. I saw a yellow z51 with black stripes that looked pretty good too, but I wouldn't order it that way.

That combo looks great. Stripe it.

Stripes do not belong to any one (or group). GM used stripes before any American manufacturer.

Just came in yesterday. Sorry about picture quality, glare from showroom lights.
Pick it up Friday when rain stops and warms up.

Some stripes definitely look better than others. The car on page 1 IMHO looks killer!!! I'll take it!

Vinyl. Real painted stripes are expensive, they are like a $5000 option on Vipers.

Mine is a AW vert with dual black stripes, Kalahari Int and a black top. As most people say... it's yours, you paid for it, get whatever floats your boat
