Personally, I never cared for stripes on corvettes. In my mind, they are reserved for Mustangs, Camaro, and Challengers...and even then...not really.

Kind of played out in my mind...like chrome rims...

I am going to have the hood stinger stripe painted on my Arctic White Z06/Z07 coupe. Carbon flash metallic to match the hood exhaust grille and to tie in with the exposed carbon fiber roof panel.

I think the stripes look alright, and that certain combinations look better than others. But I ordered my new Vette without them.

Just like many things, it comes down to personal choices.

OP, by the way, I think yours looks great.

Stripes on the C7 make an already busy looking car down right cluttered and the 1960's chrome wheels on a modern super car.......... trash a work of art.

I prefer FGTs with stripes. If the color combo is right, stripes look great on the new Z.

I hate how the online configuration has the red stripes as pretty bright red which I like. Then you google the stripes and the red is actually "crystal red", which is very dark and IMO looks pretty bad as stripes.
