Anyone that has bought the new Z06...I am curious how much insurance is being charged. I know this will be different from owner to owner due to driving records and such but an average is what I am looking for. I plan on buying one next month. I have recently moved to florida from texas and found prices higher here than they were in texas.

check with Adam Boca at National Corvette Museum - probably some of the best rates around. I have not taken delivery of my Z06 yet, but will add to current policy with my 1967 Camaro and combined the two will be around $1300/year

Got Boost?!
I'm a bit younger, so I don't know if that was the cause for mine being higher than those listed above. I have everything through Amica and was quoted $1,190 for 12 months (on a $90k build), that's with all the bells and whistles , Max coverage - $500 deductible. I don't own the car yet but I did my research in advance.
I did not shop around with any one else so I'm sure I could find cheaper else where.

I have multiple vehicles with Geico but my insurance went down from my 2010 ZR1 to the 2015 Z06/Z07.

If you are going to use this more as a toy than a daily driver, check with the collector car insurance people. If you garage the car and keep your mileage low, this may save you a lot of money. Also, if you plan to track it occasionally, you may want a track insurance policy, which are also available. Regular comp and collision will not cover track use.

One very large factor in insurance is where you live. it can be difficult to compare apples to apples because of this. I have cars insured in both Maine and Florida, and significant difference between the 2 (FL obviously higher costs).

I would find a new agent. There is no reason why you they can not give you a quote. The car is known, the safety features are known, your driving record and credit is known.
Your agent is either A.) an Idiot, B) Lazy, or C) Lazy Idiot.
Either way, I would find a new agent.
This is a standard crappy sales tactic that some agents use. Wait until you get the car (large purchase) and then they screw you with the high premium. They figure they have you between a rock and a hard place then.
It is total BS. I would not even consider for a second to stay with anyone who tried to pull that crap.
If you can't even get a quote, you had better hope you never need a payout.

I'm at $715 for 6 mos, that's with an optional $20 add-on for 3-year replacement with Allstate. That's with a $1000 deductible for Collision. I do have a speeding ticket on my record which is probably bumping me up a bit.

AMICA charged me nothing beyond the increase in collision value for a near $100K car. I think it was $90 annually more than the Stingray it replaced which seemed reasonable considering it is worth a lot more. Otherwise the premium is same as a Toyota. Some companies may uplift non-collision premiums for a Z06, so be careful.

Right in line with my State Farm quote. Thinking we should switch to Gecko.

Guess I'll give AMICA and GEICO a call -- I pay $1400 through Liberty Mutual. I live in Westchester County, NY. I called USAA yesterday and the figure there was just under $2000.

Call Adam Boca at the National Corvette Museum, as I have mentioned in the past! Adam can get you set up for a normal policy as well as a policy specific for HPDE, etc. They have a season policy as well as scaled policies depending on your requirements.

Just added my ZEE to my Camaro policy through the NCM - $1098 for the year for the ZEE
