Not bad. Would of been alot better time had he been in second instead of 3rd gear. I love going to the dragon.

That was the point, super cold road, and driving at 2k to 3,600 rpms not pushing it all and still run 10 mins!? = INCREDIBLE CAR

That would be considered a fast time in a normal "quick car" done in good temps running pretty hard !

Surely you can tell the car/driver were NOT pushing it AT ALL It was merely just a cruise through that happened to show the car can and will be a BEAST when it's actually REALLY DRIVEN !

But wait...you can tell at the 4 minute mark the Z was experiencing some serious heat soak.

Nothing impressive about impeding the oncoming lane of traffic in curves and passing cars on a double yellow. Especially in such a curvy road. Should serve as an example of how not to drive on the dragon.

Hmmm.....
It's a test...you DIDN'T study....

Now go actually WATCH the video. At NO point does the guy driving the Z06 do ANY of the things you said.
Seriously, what is it with some of you guys????

If you're too lazy or too busy to watch a 10 minute video, do yourself a favor and DON'T comment on it....you just look like a fool.

Jimmy

you can tell from the cloud cover that this must have been a cold day. it is the likely reason that he used only 3rd and 4th and kept the throttle blades only partially open. must not be a z07 based upon his comments that the brakes felt weak.

looks like an interesting drive especially when it is a bit warmer.

Don't be silly, Dave, you have to have a C5 Z06 to go that fast....

Jimmy

PS. Notable that we're not hearing a peep from the various "experts" from this related thread (the OP of the thread below is the same driver/Z06 as in the video in this thread):
