Who will be the first to swap to a 2.3 ?
After seeing LMRs car make 661 on only 8 pounds it makes me wonder how much they will make on 12 to 14 . Then I see that Vengeance changed both pulley's and didnt realy get any gains from them so is the little blower all done at this point? I would think a 1.7 has more in it.
Who will be the first to swap to a ZR1 2.3 blower?
If the new Z makes 660 on 8 pounds with a stock motor then it looks like they are going to make big power when you are able to turn them up with a bigger blower.

I'd look into loosing them 200lb first….which is probably difficult unless you gut the car….then once it's gutted even the old fashioned C6 interior will look better than alum race seats and gutted dash lol

LMRs #s are at 10psi... The car hits 8psi and peaks at 10.... We are just under 12psi making 660/663, but have not been back on the dyno with our headers yet.
You are correct at this point in the game the lower pulley (8" to 8.5") did not gain any additional power. That MAY change though....
The ZR1 2.3 Blower would not be anywhere close to fitting the LT4 engine/cylinder heads. It would be nice if the aftermarket brought us a 2.9 Whipple or Kenne Bell though
I think you will soon see both Vengeance and LMR making over 700RWHP with a mild cam/supporting bolt ons. Hang in there guys, let us do our thing and I promise you neither shop will let you down.
Oh and warranties are for people who wax their cars

Areytou serious.. Im really starting think you are here just to make negative comments. And coming from bmw you should know we dump thousands into our cars during warranty and barely make the power these cars are making.. It only recently got cheaper because all the cars are coming turbo.. Dude just give it rest, because if they were to talk about all the issues with m3,m5,m6 they would have a long *** **** list..

My point is, the entire premise of a Corvette is that it is affordable. Now when you are paying 100k for one of these, you are already pretty close to a GT3. Its not like Corvette is 50k and you have so much room to spend. It is a 6 figure car. Then you drop 20-30k on it and void warranty. Now you spent 130k for a car that has no warranty. I just dont get it. May as well get a Porsche to begin with or a Viper since both of those are superior in their own sense.

Ive heard thru the grapevine that Callaway will have a mockup or completed install of their triple intercooler blower before Christmas.
So how about a 2.3L blower with 3 intercoolers and a warranty?

I can tell from where this thread is going GM is going to be selling a lot of new engines. I don't think they will mind either since it keeps the engine plants running.

Your here on a regular basis trolling nonsense. Everyone gets it, you like german cars. Go drive one, go fly a kite, go away troll! Who cares what another person does with his/her money except a broke person or nagging wife! Nobody cares what kinda car you lie about driving or what you think of the Z06. I would call you a joke, but jokes are funny & people like them. Your neither

I don't have an issue with negative comments but I do take issue with people who repeat the same negative comments over and over and over on a daily basis.
I joined a forum that I thought was aimed at Corvette enthusiasts. I have an ignore list that helps keep it that way.
