yup saw that z06 today, it's sooo nice. Is that the only z06 at Sema? I don't like the top when the convertible is rolled up, I think coupe is still nicer.

coupe is faster than convertible right? by a tiny bit.

my local dealer is marking up the z06 for 20k! how about your dealers?

Thanks! This looks like the dark gray interior with the Cyber Gray wheels, exactly what I'm planning. This is the first live shots of the Cyber Gray wheels that I think I've seen. That's going to look darn good on my orange convertible!

Coupe and convertible should post same speeds, they're the same weight. It's the M7 vs A8 that posted speed differences.

Also, most dealers on the east coast are at MSRP, if you're dealer is charging a premium, you might want to consider buying elsewhere and pay to ship, it'll be a lot cheaper.

Oh, and I'm not too concerned about how it looks with the top up, I rarely ever had the top up on my C6! 60deg and above and dry, that top was down even if i had to run the heat and the seat heaters LOL

That's the standard grey on the Stingray. The Z06 has a special dark grey interior available.

Thanx for the pics.

Is it just me or is there no such thing as a bad color on the C7?

Faster or quicker?

The base convertible weighs 65 pounds more than the base coupe and has more aero drag, so it's safe to assume that the Z06 convertible will weigh more than the Z06 convertible(EDIT: coupe). That should equate to slower acceleration and lower top speed for the convertible.

This is not the Z06 gray. This is a stingray, which is a light gray. The Z06 is an exclusive dark gray color.

sooo basically 10.9 in the QM verses 10.899 in the coupe ... and instead of 205 you can only go 203

sidebar: does anybody even have the final weights and drag coefficient yet? or are we speculating?

Convertibles are hella fun to drive on the track. Especially the ones you sit on top of. Unfortunately the C7 does not have sufficient rollover protection so GM killed it for any enthusiasts that like open air motoring.

Luckily they gave us a targa. Happy coupe buyer here.
