Unreal a 4500 lb pig with small tires and 57 extra hp over the Z06 is running those times? I guess my hat is off the SRT guys. I think maybe the GM guys may have been holding back with the 10.95? If not how does 1000 lbs more and only 57 more hp get that close to the Z06? actually looked again it is 0.2 faster than the stick> Really?

It would be the driver,
Give two stock cars raced in a drag side by side, the ZO6 should be faster
Blink the Mopar could edge it though.
In any case, I really like the shape of the Hemi Power curve, same shape as my wimpy (only 600 HP) old Cobra's.
GM deliberately holds back the LT$ with the small blower. It will feel fine on the street, but won't satisfy when you ring its neck out, which I scare myself occasionally doing.
I expect the ZO6 to be a hell of a track weapon.

Here is the hellcat trying over and over with a factory driver and getting a best of 4.5 SECONDS....the Hellcat IS the big fat pig

Sorry to bust you bubble but it was a very big weak bubble

Get AWD if you want 60 fast on street rubber. I don't consider the hyper tires that come on the Z28 or ZO7 street tires. Would you want to be caught with those tires in a downpour? They cost way more to run per mile that it takes to put fuel in the car! A street tire should last 15,000 to 20,000 miles if not abused too much. I consider 10 Cents/Mile as an acceptable wear factor cost.
I doubt I could do much better in my RWD car, and I fight for traction from a roll in at any legal speed other than maybe in Texas

Unbelievable that you guys are comparing 0-60 times especially for these to cars. One will obvious transfer weight a LOT better than the other and one ran the short time because of gobs of traction. Look at the MPH, while I still feel the 127mph isn't right, the hellcat isn't even in the same league here. Where's Snorman, his C7 would be a good race for the hellcat at the track, I'll let you guess what his 0-60 times equal.
Silly internet comparisons.

I remember the muscle car wars until the Hemi 426 put it to rest. Looks like history repeating itself. I don't know but I want them both. See if I can get wife to put that add on to the house on hold and not celebrate Christmas or anniversary over the next 3 years. Maybe no vacation too. I can salvage 2 out of the 3 kids college education. I'll figure it out.

Apples/Oranges........Dodge has a car that competes with the Z06 and it's NOT called Hellcat. The Hellcat is Camaro's fight.

Any car can be made to go fast! I just saw a person do an LS conversion in a Chevette. Regardless of how much power the challenger has, it's a butt ugly car that I would NEVER BUY!

Yawn... who cares really. If you are really concerned about racing then chances are you will mod the s*hit out of either car.
The hell cat looks like a shopping cart with spray paint.
