Default Carbon Flash Stinger Hood - Newbie question

How hard is the stinger hood to maintain? Is it waxed just like the rest of the car or is separate treatment required? I know I like having that new car look to last.

It is paint, just like the rest of the exterior.

Actually, it's a decal. It can be treated like the painted surfaces (washed, waxed, etc.). But, like any decal applied to a painted surface, there is a profile around it in which particles (dirt, wax, etc.) can become trapped.
