My '14 is fine. Maybe someone should relay this to whoever's in charge of quality control. Agree with point that this is a show car and those usually look better that the average customer car.

That's unacceptable w/ the fender, even for a brand new Honda Civic.

Last November every C7 Stingray on display at the LA Autoshow had that awful gap.

People are going to jump all over this and say it is not a big deal - but just like the added weight - it is lousy thing to be on the final C7 Z06.

Looks great in white.

The other minor issue I see is in the third pic, the head-on shot, that shows a slightly raised area at the leading edge of the hood on the driver's side, adjacent to the driver headlight.

Looks like the hood is slightly raised, just a bit, enough to cast a gray area of shadow, about 4" or so, at that edge.
I will guess if you can see that in the pic, you would see it on the street, too.
Looks like hood to bumper fitment is not quite right.

Some of these small details would irritate me if I had to put up with them on a new car, but we'll have to wait and see if the production cars come through better.

Overall, though, looks great.

Same issue with that rear fender alignment on the TSG Z06 as well.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...lebration.html

I really hope they figured this out as they had an entire model year and the Z06 does not share either of these two panels with the base car which has had these issues since day 1.

That car is killer, no doubt white is one of the best colors I've seen on the Z06.

I hate to bead a dead horse - but when is Chevrolet going to get rid of that huge fender well gap!?!?! There isn't a foreign sports car in the world that has a fender well gap like that. I just don't get it.

There are some other "Gaps" they need to address first.

SPOILER ALERT

no phun intended... I don't know where this stage-2 stuff is coming from. I'm looking into ordering a Z06 and some of the stuff you read on the forums is confusing. keep in mind these cars that are on display can have a combo of any of these parts, i.e. Z07 spoiler with smaller winglets on front spoiler, etc.

To my knowledge there are three configurations, hopefully this helps and correct me if i'm wrong and i'll be happy to edit this.

this came straight from Tadge:

The Z06 offers three levels of downforce:

1. Standard Z06:
- unique front splitter
- spats around the wheelhouses
- unique carbon fiber hood with larger hood vent
- aggressive rear spoiler

2. CFZ/CFV carbon fiber aero package adds:
- carbon fiber front splitter with small winglets
- carbon fiber rocker panels
- new "wicker bill" wide rear spoiler
- CFZ = carbon flash PAINTED
- CFV = VISIBLE carbon weave

3. Z07 performance package adds:
- larger winglets on front splitter
- adjustable-height center "wicker-bill" on the rear spoiler

Glad to see that you are getting back into a Z. Are you going with white again? I love the white but I'm not sure if it will feel New enough if i chose it again... slight lean to red right now.. I've had 8 vettes and none have been red.

These are pre production cars and in no way represent a finished product...in several different area's.
