I've been working on the Chevelle, been hanging in Off Topic and changed my forum name lol. I've only called Mike at Criswell once. What have you been up to?

Driving the family Suburban.

I know...it sucks!

I have to be patient. I pulled the trigger on the C6 and went the modification route. This time around, I will wait. Hopefully, not too much longer!

Enjoying my vettes. And did a 3 city driving tour/car show this past weekend in my old '68 GTO vert. In triple digit heat.

Could have taken one of the vettes, but I have been driving them, and I wanted to see how the old Poncho would handle the heat as I hadn't before this weekend toured it in 100+ temps. I think it did better than me. This week it's back into the high 80s, so will try to get some more good seat time in one them.

Wes Milby at Reliable Chevrolet is prolly getting tired of me asking when we can submit the order for the new Z.

I took my 991 TT to Orlando Speedworld yesterday for a "GT-R and Exotic" car event. It was mostly GT-R's. Ran 2 days at Roebling Road last week with my regular track car, will be back at RR in just over 2 weeks, then RA in September and four more events after that through the end of the year. Around October it'll be time to start hitting Atco and cooling off in Florida too, so some drag racing will be in order for a few of the other cars.
The typical stuff.

Yeah, the old girl did pretty well. Never overheated - came close a couple times when we were cruising 70+ or when we hit a few back to back stoplights - but I just backed her off a bit and she did fine.

I now know it can handle a road trip in the heat if need be.

How's the Chevelle doing?

Will do, Derek.

He's been pretty patient with me so far. Doesn't sound like we'll be able to do much of anything until Sept-ish. Probably won't even see the cars until Feb/March. Which I guess is fine. Should have them in time for spring.

Does seem forever away, tho.

While waiting for my Z06 vert, I'm driving my C6 coupe at close to lightspeed so I'll age slower.

It was in one of the presentations at the Bash. The video is around here somewhere. All trim levels have HUD and otherwise were pretty close to the Stingray's 1/2/3LT as I recall.
